Situated in Banlung amidst tropical greenery, Ratanakiri Paradise Hotel & Restaurant features environmentally-friendly accommodation in the Ratanakiri Province. I called from the bus station at 6:00 in the morning, asked for a pickup and after 20 minutes I was picked up by an 4WD car. I got my room at 7:00 AM in without extra charge. Delicious breakfasts, amazing view from the restaurant and pool. Nature, peace, rest, a tropical garden and a manager who helped me with planning local trips. I highly recommend. Beautiful premises with lots of greenery in a scenic landscape. Amazing, spacious outdoor bathroom with huge bathtub, quality toiletries. Stylish room interior in traditional Chinese fashion. Nice, though small swimming pool.

This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

Featuring garden views, Tribal Village Homestay & Trekking provides accommodation with terrace, around 8.6 km from Yeak Laom Lake. The hospitality is amazing. Smey and his wife who are the owners of the place were very helpful, caring, always responding to our needs. Super tasty meals. Cozy and beautiful huts and garden. Comfortable beds. Possibility to rent the scooters and hiking in the jungle with the guide from the tribe. Smey knows everyone and everyone knows Smey so he can organize you everything :) Lovely experience with lots of rest in the hammock.

Bee Bee's Chalets home stay and trekking is located in Banlung, 4.5 km from Yeak Laom Lake, 6.6 km from Ka Chanh Waterfall, and 10 km from Cha Ong Waterfall. The family is very welcoming and friendly. I felt at home the first day. Good hospitality. Very helpful to help you organize everything (tuk tuk , trekking etc). The guests was very friendly too. Located just 8.9 km from Yeak Laom Lake, Ratanakiri Homestay & Jungle Trek provides accommodation in Banlung with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Very nice owners and family, they make you feel welcome. The optional shared dinner is really tasty and a nice way to get to know the family and other guests. Basic facilities but a very good value for the price. Also could rent a scooter for a day. Thank you!

Family House and Trekking is a must visit in Ban Lung, the homestay is relaxing and welcoming with great places to hang out. Pu Thea and his family help with getting around town, jungle trekking, and make amazing meals.

A hostel with more natural space than the average. Backpacker’s hostel has multiple options for accommodation such as private rooms, family rooms and soon to have camping tents. This hostel is a nice mix between camping yet with access to restrooms, a restaurant, bar and assistance with jungle trekking or transportation services. A very relaxed and friendly environment ran by a lovely family who takes care of their community as well as their guests. Definitely recommend.

Boasting mountain views, Green Hill Homestay, Restaurant & Treķking features accommodation with patio, around 4.2 km from Yeak Laom Lake. Lovely hosts - they kept in touch with me on the day of my arrival and offered to pick me up from the bus station. The property is situated a bit outside the central town area, which gives it a really tranquil and peaceful countryside atmosphere without being too far away from amenities. Depending on the weather the lake and shops are walkable but you'd be wise to consider renting a moto (the owner offers tuktuk rides as well). You can enjoy a spacious deck/terrace overlooking the forested hills around the Boeng Yeak Lake. Rooms are simple, modest but clean and with all the essentials you'd want - a comfy bed, mozzie net, a fan and an outlet close to the bed. Hosts speak English and the lady managing the property is a good cook - you can enjoy a range of dishes, including vegetarian options and fresh local fruit without having to go anywhere. All at reasonable prices. Moto rental, various trekking or even bus transfer options can be arranged as well. All in all really enjoyed my stay.
