Very helpful staff speaking excellent English. The owner, Andrea, is a real joy to chat with. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean with hot water showers. But the real treat here is the restaurant ! The owner is italian and has managed to set up a wonderful restaurant serving authentic homemade italian food. The pasta is made by hand on site, as are all the desserts. He even had gluten free pasta ! It was by far the best meal I’ve eaten in Cambodia. On my next trip to Mondulkiri, I will be sure to stay and eat here.

For the price you can absolutely not complain, of course it's not going to be perfect and absolutely stunning inside, but what do you expect for something priced so cheaply? Staff were great, organised our food, tuk tuk, everything, the room was great (again, for the price) and if was the first place we had actual hot water, and beaut view. We stayed here and got picked up for the Mondulkiri elephant project. When we came back from the jungle, we stayed back here again.

The owner (Manel) is super friendly and helps you with everything. He organized a little tuk tuk tour for us, which was really great. The food is also very good and we ate almost every meal at the restaurant!

Featuring free bikes, garden and views of mountain, Chomkatae Bungalows is set in Sen Monorom, 32 km from Bousra Waterfall. Owners were so friendly and helpful, they gave us a room to shower in and freshen up after we had already checked out and returned from a day with the elephants. rooms was super comfortable and in great condition, also a super cute family of cats that wander around 10/10
