I loved the location, the scenery from the hotel, the staff were amazing, organization of all the guests and navigating the hotel with staff assistance was amazing. The breakfast was also super fresh, well presented and nothing ever ran out. It was close to the station like literally downstairs. If you didn't prefer the trains, they also had taxi go and the local bus to use.

There is a small corner with microwave, kettle, sink, a seating area and a fridge with some drinks to buy, you can have breakfast there. Extremely kind owner, downstairs is a coworking space so you can meet all kinds of people. The grocery store and restaurants are a 10-minute walk. Breakfast options are limited in the village and most places only open at 9:00, so stock up on some pastries from the grocery store at the main bus stop. For dinner, Kinugasa cafeteria is highly recommended, they also have vegetarian options, which the other places usually do not. If you want to try a little bit more posh spa other than the traditional public baths, try Unzen Onsen Seiunso Hotel which is around 30 minutes walk or a 10 minute bus ride (the bus terminus is right in front of the hotel). It has both an internal and external spa area. Enjoy!

They helped us with everything we could possibly need, from car rental and taxi organisation to dinner reservations and recommendations on what to do and explore on the island. Breakfast and dinner were great and the view from the room was the best. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the onsen bath on the balcony was a great addition to our stay. We absolutely loved our 2 nights at Goto Retreat and will definitely come back.

Hotel situato nella galleria commerciale della città e molto vicino alla zona con la più alta concentrazione di ristoranti e vita notturna. Nel suo essere pienamente conforme a tutti gli hotel di questa fascia in Giappone, risulta un pò più bello da vedere, inoltre la stanza è di poco più ampia della media, non troppo, ma la differenza si nota. Stessa cosa per il bagno, un filo più grande e forse organizzato un pò meglio rispetto a quanto ho avuto modo di vedere in altre città. Interessante la presenza di massaggiatori automatici per gambe e collo (esperienza che può essere piacevole o molto sgradevole, dipende dalla persona). In generale lo consiglierei e lo terrò in considerazione nel caso in cui dovessi tornare a Nagasaki, il vantaggio di essere dentro la galleria diventa ancora più prezioso nei giorni di pioggia intensa, inoltre la stanza di poco più grande della media risulta molto più piacevole. Possibilità di usare lavatrice e asciugatrice (lavaggio 300 yen, asciugatura 100 yen per 30 minuti).
