Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. beautiful estate and enormous gardens. we simply loved the grounds and all the staff.

We were attending a wedding in the Lodge at Ashford, this hotel was just a very short spin up the road, perfectly located, clean, spacious, large comfortable bed, tea & coffee in the room, big shower and most importantly the room was warm (we were in minus degrees) and the hotel even added another heater into our room.

The live music each evening was great and consisted of local talent in the area, which made for great entertainment. Overall, we loved our 6 nights stay at Danaghers and can’t wait to return in the fall. Highly recommend it and cannot thank the hosts enough for their amazing hospitality. We loved it! 😀🍀

Located in the town centre of Oughterard, the Connemara Lake Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property and free street parking. For those who are not looking for the atmosphere of a common and standard hotel chain, but the typical Irish charm, this is an ideal place. The hotel is well equipped, very comfortable, clean, very welcoming. The breakfast, but also dinner if you wish, are very good, host are charming and very polite. Parking around hotel is free and easy, the coutryside is very nice.

Host Rachael is the best with delightful conversations and excellent referrals for places to eat, sites to see.

The host was very friendly and responsive, he also explained how to reach the lake. The bed was very comfortable and the room very big and with very nice custom furniture. Very good breakfast prepared by the host.
