Located on the outskirts of Thurles town, Anner Hotel and its leisure centre is a pleasant base with friendly staff, fine food and plenty of comforts. Having breakfast included was a bonus. Rooms were spacious-for Ireland- and clean. Easy access to town and quiet- there was a wedding on but we weren’t disturbed by any noise. Great staff.

Located just off the N7, the Abbey Court features an award-winning restaurant, a modern leisure centre and full Irish breakfasts. Free parking is also available. This is an upscale location at a reasonable price - if you book well in advance. Their scones are delectable.

Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges is a private escape in the tranquil surroundings of the Gal tee Mountains. The historic Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel, are both within 30 km from the property. It was in a beautiful location in the hills

Located in the heart of Ireland’s Golden Vale, The Carraig Hotel is a 2-minute walk to the River Suir. This 18th-century property offers a traditional bar and a fine restaurant. It was a nice town full of nice people.

Baileys Hotel is a listed Georgian building located in the heart of Cashel town. It offers luxurious, refurbished rooms, fine dining, and views of The Rock of Cashel. Breakfast perfect, staff professional kind and approachable and went above and beyond when our car wouldn't start. The hotel is absolutely spotless and the Cellar Bar provided us with a fabulous evening meal at a v reasonable price 😀

This beautiful old Georgian house from 1832 has views of the River Suir, and 3.5 acres of gardens at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains. From the moment I arrived I was treated like a member of the family. I was asked many times if I needed anything to eat or drink especially after my long flight. The staff could not do enough for me. Even with the construction going on, which btw I didn’t mind it’s lovely to see this old house being well taken care of. But if I wanted they would have moved me to the front of the house so the construction would not bother me. The food was amazing, the staff amazing but the house it’s self stunning like stepping back in time. This old house has so much history and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is situated along the river suir. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Cahir House Hotel is on the town square, by the River Suir. It has a traditional bar, a bistro and a beauty salon, and offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. This hotel is the best option for excellent food..really, excellent food...niceties from room 116..reception ladies are so very helpful, and pub and library areas great for drinks too!!

In the centre of Thurles town, the 18th-century Hayes Hotel offers an on-site restaurant and coffee bar, as well as a nightclub on weekends, with live music and entertainment. Big comfortable beds. Food is the bar was so good. Tried other places around Thurles and this was the best by far
