Dating back to 1747, this historic coaching inn boasts an on-site coffee shop selling fresh pastries, home-cooked food, and afternoon tea. It is ideally sited to enjoy the delights of Birr and it's famous castle. Personally it was ideal. for me to explore my ancestors who established the town as it is today namely the Parson family who still live at the castle. The hotel staff are very friendly and hard working. Well done to everyone.

Kitty's is set in Tullamore, 200 metres from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre and 12 km from Kilbeggan Racecourse. The property is 14 km from Ballard Farm. All fantastic. Quiet with lots of eateries around. Some great pubs too

I was welcomed by Geraldine, who greeted me with a cup of tea and a chat, making me feel at home right from the start. My room was immaculately clean with a spacious ensuite bathroom. TV had lots of channels including Netflix and there is also tea/coffee and biscuits available outside your room if you wish to make use of them. The breakfast was delicious and guests have ample choice of fruit,cereal or a cooked meal. Enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.

Beautiful home with an incredible historical story attached. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated spaces. Lovely host and 2 gorgeous dogs, Lottie and Faith. Highly recommended. Delicious breakfast.
