This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. Everything was fantastic my parents loved their room. They were so relaxed with the views out the window. The vomfy beds to room size. The pool they used was great! The service for the 2 nights was superb! Overall they were tickle pink!

Fantastic central location to Ambleside. Lots of local walks on the doorstep. The room was stunning, would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Located near Ambleside, The Samling Hotel has a garden and a terrace. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving British cuisine. Breakfast was incredible, staff was exceptional. It was NOT a cheap stay but we felt like we received the full value of what we paid. Highly recommend, especially for a splurge couple’s trip.

Set in Bowland Bridge, 10 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Mason's Arms offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Breakfast was served by the open fire. Lots of fresh quality ingredients and great portions to set you up for the day. Room had lots of character and the separate lounge area was great to unwind after a busy day!

Just a mile from Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, this luxury boutique hotel offers home-cooked food and free Wi-Fi. Overall, everything was perfect. The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. Traditional meets Modern styling, lovely food and great service. Location was awesome, the perfect place to get away to.

Linthwaite House is situated on a hilltop overlooking Windermere, making it the perfect base from which to explore the scenic surroundings. No any doubt to rate this hotel for 10 of 10.

Overlooking Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes, the Craig Manor is 5 minute walk from Bowness. The rooms have modern decor, en suite bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. The hotel was fantastic, great location only a short walk into Bowness or 15 min to Windermere. Great breakfast , plentiful and best quality., takeaway coffee was a nice addition.
