The venue is amazing, mixes country cottage and modern very well. Staff was pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. My room, beyond having all the facilities necessary and a Nespresso machine, had a lot of character.

Set in Hatfield and with Hatfield House reachable within 3.3 km, The Comet London Hatfield offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet despite its location on a busy road. The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and lots of choice. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also good. I cannot fault the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and ready to go the extra mile to make our stay special. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

This is my third time here. The staff has been very kind and I appreciate the fact that they have offered me the same room if possible when I return in a few months. Breakfast is decent as well!

The rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV.... The bed was very comfortable and huge. The room was well decorated with a lovely view on to the high street. The bathroom was spacious with bath and shower. Toiletries were also provided. The cleanliness was impeccable to the last detail. Sunday carvery was fantastic. Huge bar serving beers, wines and cocktails. Every member of staff was accommodating and very friendly.Would recommend to anyone.

This property is the oldest hotel in Hertford and offers bedrooms with period features and free Wi-Fi. With a traditional pub restaurant, the hotel is 150 metres from Hertford Museum. charming , cozy hotel with a nice updated room and in a great location . The lounge bar and dining room we’re comfortable & the food in the restaurant was delicious! we didn’t use the patio area due to cold and rain but it looked like a wonderful place to have a drink . they had nice amenities like tea nespresso biscuits water bottles for your room and a butler pantry for refills.

This splendid manor house is set in 35 acres of wooded parkland and offers modern facilities in historic surroundings. The property boasts an indoor pool and a gymnasium. What a beautiful spot, a throw back to another era with the formal house, dining, and gardens replete with peafowl. We arrived by bus and on foot, saw a play at the theatre right next door, and enjoyed the Tring Natural History Museum. The staff were welcoming and - once we revealed our own lack of formality - funny. We would love to return. The pool was beautiful too!
