The Close Hotel

Hotel in Tetbury

Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and features a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. Tge staff were very attentive. The room - Jacobean - was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The bedding was lovely and we enjoyed the tea, coffee and treats provided in the room. The breakfast was outstanding, everything you could want was included. Great location with good parking and right in the middle of town.

The Seagrave Arms

Hotel in Weston Subedge

Located in Weston Subedge and with Royal Shakespeare Theatre reachable within 11 miles, The Seagrave Arms provides express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout... Really enjoyable stay. We were made to feel really welcome and the room was super, with a comfy four poster bed and large separate bathroom. The room was really clean with lovely decor. We loved the small bar area downstairs with a roaring fire. Also had a three course dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. Food was more than a cut above normal pub fayre (think smaller, beautifully presented portions and very high quality ingredients)- for example I had guineau fowl. All the food was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. To cap it off, we were offered walking maps and walked to Chipping Camden and Dover's Hill direct from the Hotel - with the offer of being picked up if we got lost!
