We stayed one night and were in the process of walking the Fife Coastal Path, having started to the north of St Andrews. The Aberdour Hotel was a perfect place to stop, the facilities are good and the staff were warm and very friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was pretty good. The breakfast was also great and it really set us up for a day of walking. The Aberdour Hotel is also 5 minutes walk to both the railway station and bus stop, which could be very useful.
Super little apartment, ideal for our 2 night stay in Kirkcaldy. Stewart, the host, was very flexible in accommodating our check in/out request. Apartment was well equipped with a few little extras added which was a nice touch. Easy walking distance to town centre and Fife Coastal Path. The flat and surrounding area is very quiet so a good night’s sleep is guaranteed. Hope to stay again.
St Andrews
A very comfortable and welcoming small Hotel with well appointed rooms finished to a very high standard. The breakfast is cooked to order and one of the best I have had anywhere, likewise the evening meals are of a high standard and cooked to order. The Hotel is well situated in the pretty village of Kingsbarns and makes a good base for exploring St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife.
Great location on Fife coast. Hotel looked in good condition and was clean and welcoming. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was comfortable and was able to get a decent night's sleep. The wifi - important as I travel on business - worked very well in my room. I had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning, both of which were good.
Magical location above the beach with the Fife Coastal Trail nearby . The apartment was very comfortable with the living room and bedroom upstairs and the kitchen and dining room with windows looking out to the sea. There were a washer and dryer so we were able to do our laundry The owners were very accommodating.
Anstruther
The Location of the apartment is excellent, within easy walking distance of Cellardyke and Anstruther. These villages have great restaurants and lovely clear water for swimming in. We just can’t put into words how good the location and apartment were. On our next visit to Fife guess where we will be booking!!!!!
The team at the Hotel were very welcoming and took the time to speak with all guests. The location overlooking the Firth of Forth was lovely and we did enjoy the mature gardens to the front of the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Burntisland is a good location for exploring the Kingdom of Fife
Very comfortable, well appointed 2 bedroom apartment with private parking adjacent in reasonably central location in Anstruther within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops. Also good location for travelling to various golf courses around Fife and St Andrews. Simple to gain access.
We were blown away with the service at the Upper Largo Hotel. The staff were so brilliant with my dog which was lovely. The food was exceptional and the location was ideal for us as we were hiking some of the Fife Coastal Path. Would 100% recommend to friends and family (I actually already have!)
Hotel was lovely. Room was really big and the views were stunning. Plenty of room. Also facilities were good. Bar and club at night were good. We got breakfaat in our room and portion size was really big. Excellent location for exploring Fife. We'll definitely be baxk
