Located on the Galapagos Islands, Galapagos Bed & Breakfast house is in Puerto Ayora. It is a 5-minute walk from the waterfront and offers rooms with a private balcony and hammock. We loved staying at Galapagos Suites. The other comments have already mentioned everything, I guess, and I can definitely confirm it (spacious and very well-decorated rooms, comfy beds, good hot shower, yummy breakfast incl. freshly baked cakes, central yet quiet location, everything was spotlessly clean, etc.) - it is an excellent boutique hotel. But it was really Joseline and Josy who made our stay even more special - they were very helpful with everything and made sure we enjoyed the islands to the max. Joseline even put me on the phone with a doctor when I got a cold just before embarking on a dive cruise (liveaboard) to get some last minute advice. We were really sad to leave our Galapagos home and hope we will be back. In the meantime, whenever we are nostalgic, we have a tea in our Galapagos Suites blue-footed boobie mug. Thanks Joseline and Josy! ❤

Fabiola cleaned our apartment daily and was warm, friendly with a delightful smile and happy demeanour. We truly enjoyed staying in his apartment.

We had an excellent breakfast pack from them on our early morning excursion. Well presented and packed for us to eat as we got hungry on the boat trip. All were wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. 10/10 We were super happy with how they explained their commitment to being responsible towards nature and what they do to be actively involved. The info in the rooms was presented subtly, although not overwhelmingly. The free shopping bags and water bottles were a nice touch.

Semilla Verde Boutique Hotel gives its guests the real traditional guesthouse experience on Santa Cruz Island. It is located only a 12-minute drive from Puerto Ayora. If, at the end of your holiday in the Galapagos, you want one or two days of relaxation before flying out from Santa Cruz/Baltra Island, I would heartedly recommend this wonderful hotel up in the highlands of the island. Not only does it have giant tortoises ambling through its extensive gardens and grounds, but it is also a relaxing quiet place to stay, enjoy an alternative ecological environment and prepare for the next leg of your trip into Ecuador or return home. Katia, the hotel manager, was an excellent hostess, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both immensely. As the hotel sits within a coffee plantation, the coffee is very 'local'. The small swimming pool was pleasant on a very hot afternoon.
