Breakfast delicious and we got a day pass for the volcano lodge, which was a bonus! Really worth it. Location is great also! Walking distance from town and all restaurants!

Everything was excellent -- the staff was super friendly and kind , we even asked to have a different bungalow and the receptionist, lovely Alejandra, could find us a room that was higher up the hill like we wanted :)) The cleaning ladies were lovely and made sweet animal designs with our towels, the restaurant and bar staff were very warm and kind, the breakfast buffet was great , the views of the volcano were excellent, the overall quality of our room was amazing, also the fact that the rooms were bungalows guaranteed privacy and quiet --- all in all we were very pleasantly surprised with everything ! !

Located in Fortuna, 9.2 miles from La Fortuna Waterfall, Bungalows Las Iguanas Arenal Volcano has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. In this small family operation, Jose’s service was impeccable. He reached out in advance and removed down/feather pillows as I’m allergic. Six stars, Jose, for preheating the outdoor jacuzzi in advance of our arrival. Bungalow is the right word: small, adequate, hybrid indoor and outdoor. Jacuzzi on the side; rainforest in the back. Breakfast was more than adequate, and we enjoyed a tasty dinner at the Ross restaurant in nearby Chachagua. Sadly, we missed an early morning sighting of the area sloth crawling across the power line above. That’s for next time.

If you are looking for a place close to La Fortuna and a lot of activities, this is not the place. It's a bit remote from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but we like that it's situated on top of hills that required a windy drive to get to. The views are magnificent! The breakfast through their partners at Mystico's restaurant and the Lost Iguana were fantastic. The balcony views of the Arenal Volcano were exceptional. We loved the modern design of the lodge and waking up to the beautiful sunrise views of the volcano made for a relaxing stay. We really didn't need anything else after a long day out in town or tours.

The hotel has private bungalows set away from one another enough to give the sense of privacy while enjoying natural plantings of trees and flowers all around. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. The breakfast had several tasty options to choose from and access to the juice and coffee machines. The dinner was delicious and Chef Alex presented the dishes to us. The location is close by car/taxi to downtown or to get to the spas, activities and food places. Noah’s rooms are very well accommodating with very comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and small sitting area. Since we were celebrating a special occasion we splurged for the room with a private hot tub. This was a great option after a long day of exploring.

The gardens were fantastic, teeming with birds and frogs . Randall’s frog tour was a highlight. So much knowledge and genuine care for the animals shared with the guests. Room was spacious and practical, the outdoor shower a treat.
