Located on North Vancouver Island, Kwa'lilas Hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk from the waterfront and Port Hardy city centre. It offers on-site dining and provides free WiFi in every room. Breakfast was good. We were in a few hotels on this trip so I may have the wrong breakfast, the bread for toast was still in the bag. This made everyone who wanted some to touch/reach into the bag. Not great in these Covid times.

I loved the room with all its coziness and outdoor deck with blankies. I so appreciated all the comfort from the owners as well. I was grieving and they took their personal time to acknowledge that and comfort and pray for me. I shall be forever grateful. Thx ever so much.

Situated in Coal Harbour, 22 km from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. The hospitality of the host Michelle was outstanding. We arrived at 1:00 am and she was wide awake, waiting for us and giving directions how to reach to the property, took us to the room and made us feel secure & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, top of the world. We have been to many part of the world and stayed at many 5 star hotels. But the breakfast served at the Inn on Stephens Bay better than the 5 star hotels. It was healthy, just melts down in the mouth. The lawn and outside of the property is well maintained.

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Pemba did her utmost to welcome us and make us feel at home. She cooked us a delicious, healthy gluten free porridge for breakfast and made us wonderful Indian food for supper, like prawn curry and butter chicken, as well as fresh local salmon. She gave us knowledgeable advise about the island, and a very special send-off the evening before we left. We felt very pampered! There are comfortable seating areas, inside and out, overlooking the bay. The hotel is not far from the pub, which has live local entertainment to join in on on Saturday night. A memorable experience.

Located in Port Hardy, 6 km from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, Port Hardy Cabins provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and barbecue facilities. The cabin was so cute! Comfortable bed, awesome bathroom. Nice area to walk my dog. Staff very friendly.

Seine Boat Inn offers accommodation in Alert Bay, on Cormorant Island. A scenic ferry ride takes guests to the property. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. Wooden suite above the water with a 180° window view of the bay and the strait.Excellently equipped with amenities and kitchen utensils and absolutly clean. Wonderful staff who seem to enjoy having guests and sharing their knowledge and experiences about the island. Adventuring Alert bay is a unique experience...we will definitely come again.
