Featuring an indoor pool with water slide and hot tub, Travelodge by Wyndham Golden Sportsman Lodge is off the Trans-Canada Highway and is within a 10-minute drive of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Good location for easy travelling to national parks. Breakfast always good. Did not use pool.

Trans-Canada Otoyolu'nun çıkışında yer alan bu Golden, British Columbia oteli, Rocky ve Purcell Dağları ile çevrilidir. Otel, balkonlu ve dağ manzaralı odalar ve kapalı yüzme havuzu sunmaktadır. The reason for a high rating for this is not that we stayed there. We booked the room at a very last minute before heading out to Banff from Edmonton. But we did not follow the signs that clearly indicated that the highway is closed near Golden. And Google Maps also did not inform us about it (Sad). The booking was non-refundable but Mr. Malik was very kind and he worked with Booking.com to make sure that he can give us 50% cancellation discount - something that we have not experienced with other non-refundable hotels / bookings. Thanks a lot Mr. Malik for all your help and I am sure, this hotel is being managed by people who are great and will make your stay comfortable and worth visiting. My wife and I will surely visit this hotel the next time we are at Banff.

Offering Rocky Mountain views, this Golden hotel is 7 minutes' walk from Purcell Helicopter Skiing. Offering on-site dining and a hot breakfast, this hotel features an indoor pool with a water slide. The beds were the best we have come across in 3 weeks of our road trip. I was impressed with the rooms kitchen facilities too. Everything was well thought out and presented. The pool facilities were great and the in-house restaurant service and food was great too.

Trans-Canada Otoyolu'nun hemen yanında yer alan bu otel, Golden Golf Kulübü'ne 4 kilometre mesafededir. Tesis bünyesinde yemek yeme imkanı ve spa küvetli kapalı yüzme havuzu bulunmaktadır. The receptionist was very helpful, we were originally allocated a room on its own right by the hotels liquor store. The manager of the store explained that the store was open until 11 at night and her staff would be back and forth between store and room next to ours all the time so it would be noisy although she would ask the staff to try to keep noise to a minimum. When we went back to ask for another room the receptionist was very apologetic - think new and hadn’t realised - she then gave us a room facing the mountains on the 3rd floor. She also rang in the evening to check that everything was ok and asked again each time we passed her in reception.

This is an amazing B&B. The hosts Bruce and Cathy provide and exceptional property. The room and common areas are exceptionally furnished and super clean. Cathy cooked us a 5 star breakfast each morning which held us over until dinner each day. Our only wish is that we had done less sightseeing in the area and just spent an entire day enjoying the property!
