Located in Eeklo, 28 km from Bruges, Villa Magdalena Eeklo boasts a terrace and views of the garden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The attention to detail and hospitality was superb. The owners demonstrate true commitment snd passion for making guests have unique snd very comfortable experiences.

This Art Nouveau-style villa is situated in the Het Meetjesland area, only 1.2 km from the centre of Eeklo. Shamon features free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms and a garden with a terrace. Very nice and responsive owners. Breakfast is delicious and provided different egg options. House is beautiful and the garden is huge. A supermarket and petrol station just a few steps away.

Hotel Orchidee is situated in the centre of Aalter. They provide modern rooms with a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the building. Room was super comfortable, surprisingly big, nice windows and very comfortable bed. Staff was really nice and warm. I recommend to stay here 120%

We saw reviews of good food, but they didn’t come close to how good the food actually was. Superb! Our host was very welcoming and slipped easily between languages for her varied guests in residence. The colonial furniture was gorgeous. The gardens were lovely too.

Hotel Prelude is located near Knesselare on the E40/N44 motorway, a 25-minute drive from historic Bruges and a 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. We arrived much later than expected, still our host was there waiting for us with a smile. Everything was very clean and we had all comfort needed. Many places to park, nice terrace to enjoy the fresh air and relax a bit. Woke up with a nice and more diverse than expected breakfast. The host is super nice and takes care of all guests. Very easy to get to the location and really good if you want to be in the Brugge area. Really recommend.

The owners have got everything spot on in setting up this purpose-built B&B. Communication of details prior to arrival was excellent. We arrived late in the evening in the dark and rain, but pulling into the tastefully lit and very neat driveway / parking area gave an immediate sense of relaxation. Entry to both the gated drive and apartment was by keypad, so all very straightforward despite the late hour. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with every single aspect so well designed and carefully thought through. Efficient air conditioning, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, impressively well-equipped kitchen (hob, double oven, large fridge, dishwasher, all the crockery and utensils you could need for extended self-catering), and copious cupboard space throughout. It has its own patio area with a pleasant view. The location is peaceful. Ghent itself is readily accessible, but for me the rural area to the north was more of an attraction. Quiet, flat roads in pristine condition made for a very enjoyable early morning run. We were there for only a weekend, but I would have happily stayed much longer.
