GENTE D'AQUI Ngê D'ai êê has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in São Tomé, 500 metres from Ize Beach. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.... Our hosts Célia and her cats and dogs made sure to make our stay very pleasant. The very large garden and the bungalows are decorated with care, and make it comfortable to spend some peaceful and quiet time in there. Célia cooked us a very tasty local dish dinner. People in the community around are very friendly.

Offering a restaurant, Mucumbli is located in Ponta Figo. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. Mucumbli is a serene spot on the western side of the island. The rooms or lodges were very cute, beds were comfortable and had nice touches. The views of the jungle and the sea were incredible. The food was the best from the pastas to the fish to the chocolate mousse dessert using Claudio Corallos chocolate. And the staff were always so kind and attentive.

With sea views, Monte Mar SãoTomé is situated in M. Peixe and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Gorgeous location offering a stunning view over Praias dos Tamarindos (5-10 min walking distance). Zen atmosphere with the sound of waves, crickets at night and birds during the day. The owner Adi and his staff welcomed and treated us as we were in a 5* establishment. They were very accommodating day and night. There are 2 identical bungalows with a huge terrace. They are set in the middle of the plantation. The bed is comfortable and the fan works powerfully. Hot water with good pressure went the pump is on. The food is exceptional at a very good price. We had a gastronomical tasting for our first night. Ingredients are mainly from their plantation and according to the catch of the day for the seafood. Their fresh Cajamanga juice is addictive. We initially planned to stay 1 night but ended up staying 4 nights. We really enjoyed our experience, the kindness and the smile of this place.

Probably one if not the best place on the island. The beach is pristine, a 1km stretch of sand with no one around. Turtles hatching is a must-see and magical moment. Considering the remote location, food options are pretty scarce but tasty and cheap. Remember that the last 15 km are the roughest roads you'll probably ever drive on, use a 4WD and consider spending only a few nights if you want to explore the entire island or you'll be stuck there. Nearby villages provide a vibrant community but there is nothing more than a few local bars; buy food and fill your tank in Sao Tome city because that's the nearest place in the supply chain you'll encounter on the road.
