We particularly enjoyed spending time in the living room. The room was cosy and we loved being able to slide open the doors and have direct access to nature. Takao is a consummate host - very friendly, excellent communication, and he has thought of absolutely everything you could possibly want.

The nights before and after temple 35, walking without a bag for that day was so nice and gave my legs a mild break with plenty of time to do laundry, clean, and reorganize my gear. Since it's so affordable it makes a great place for a rest day. Walking distance to a great grocery store and conbinis.
