The host also provided information about attractions in the area and helped me with finding what I needed on my first day.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very cosy, felt like home. Got the kitchen with main amenities for quiet night at home. We’re not drinkers (coffee and wine) but we appreciated the welcome gift. Although very well decorated, it is still child proof. My 3 years old did not break anything. The location was a bit outside Sete Cidades but easily done by walk and was a good location for hiking trails and Mosteiros by car.

Check-in was a breeze, the apartment is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need, the view! Last but not least the lovely and thoughtful touches of homemade jam, wine and fruit for us. I will be back again in the future but for longer!

Country houses Lomba D'Água, is located in the parish of Candelária, south coast of the island of S. Miguel, 14 km from the city of Ponta Delgada. Excelent confort, clean and tidy, very tasty welcome Azorean delicatese, Joana is a very kind, helpful and friendly housekeeper, the beds are very confortable.

Fantastic house - modern, spacious, bright, perfect for a group! We were 8 people and it was enough space to feel comfortable for all of us. The outdoor sitting area is very spacious too and was nice to spend time at the evenings. The location is just great - supermarket is in waking distance; beach, city, promenade, cafes - all in minutes of access by car. The location is convinient to visit both eastern and western attractions of the island. We had a wonderfil time in this house and woild be happy to come back some time in the future!

There was a basket of food for us full of fruit and bread Etc. I loved that there were bikes and kayaks available to use as we got to explore in a bit more depth around the town. The host was really lovely and helpful! Beautiful property right on the lake front and a beautiful little lodge hidden in flowers and trees.
