The comfort and size of the accommodation alone would be reason for us to rate highly. In addition, the incredibly dear and impressive host. We very rarely get into raptures, but this host is a sensation: so warm, so interesting and interested: simply impressive and what a gift to experience. A few more words about the accommodation. The accommodation is large, very clean and has a sensational terrace. The bed is perfect and large, windows have mosquito protection, are tight and even have blinds (so you can make it nice and dark to sleep) The garden is a dream. You not only see (almost) all the fruits you dream of, but also get them served for breakfast. Indescribably beautiful as already mentioned the meeting with the landlord Mr. Simão. Many recommendations, lots of interesting information and conversations about the region. It was also ingenious to arrive so late and have a place to stay so close to the airport. We were picked up, although it is only a few hundred meters, with a jeep. After many hours of flight, a luxury to be received so and to land in such a nice accommodation. Our summary and with focus on a round trip: the perfect place to arrive or depart from São Tomé and Principe and spent time close to airport and a nice beach close to the town. If we were business travelers we would say: a perfect place to have a nice, calm and safe accommodation away from the center

The people and the service were wonderful. the food was beyond excellent—locally grown and caught and skillfully prepared. Amazing location with views from the mountain down to the sea. Lush tropical foliage and beautiful gardens. Our guest rooms each had a terrace with chairs and a table looking to the east making for amazing sunrises. We loved the art and decorations in the rooms, the shutters which kept the insects and the light (when we didn’t want it out). big windows provided excellent views. Excellent wifi.

Το GUEST HOUSE QUINTA NATURAL Bangalots βρίσκεται σε Graça και διαθέτει κήπο, μπαρ, παροχές για μπάρμπεκιου καθώς και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους του καταλύματος. I think this was one of the most luxurious places we stayed, for low budget. It had hot water, rooms with equiped kitchen, comfy beds, TV (well sao tome only has 2 channels I believe), fan, good breakfast.... The owners are very hard workers and welcoming. We would have liked to stay more time here.

Το Ocean View Guesthouse, το οποίο βρίσκεται μπροστά στη θάλασσα στο Σάο Τομέ, έχει κήπο. We wanted nature and a beach option within walking distance. The shopping and dining options nearby were suitable for us with 3 km walk (one way). To drive into the city, it is about a 20-minute walk through the backland to the road where the yellow taxis drive at regular intervals. The way to the house is only for experienced off-road vehicle drivers and despite the polite warnings here, it exceeded our expectations :D Our recommendation: Request a pick-up service for arrival/departure and buy the first important things in the supermarket when you arrive. The rest can be obtained in the villages. Our room was spacious and had its own bathroom. There was a common area (lounge/couches/dining area) and a kitchen. All rooms were clean and well maintained. Cleaning staff came regularly. Everyone is very polite and accommodating. We felt richly gifted, as there are other beaches very close (only few steps through the hedge). In addition, there are fantastic shopping facilities (fruit/vegetables, beer, fresh fish) in Mikolo but also street restaurants to buy fresh fish, octopus, mussels. The fishing village of Mikolo is well known on the island. Since the designated restaurants on googlemaps only open after 6 p.m., they were not really an option for us. We did not find the footpaths in the dark desirable. Except for a few days we were alone in the accommodation. The house dog is very sweet and always hungry 😊 (I was shockingly in love and there was daily morning exercise together at sunrise). We highly recommend this accommodation for a longer stay. Portuguese/French are very welcome & helpful.
