Super fint, relativt nybygget hotel. Store værelser med altan. Fin morgenmad med både frisk frugt, æg, brød og kage. Flinkt personale, meget hjælpsomme. De har store badehåndklæder til låns når man skal ud til de varme kilder eller bade i poolen. Dejligt poolområde. God beliggenhed, ca 10 min ind til byen og nemt at komme ud når man skal køre på tur omkring på øen. Der hører parkering til hotellet. Kan varmt anbefales.

Olive Boutique Guesthouse ligger i Vila Franca do Campo, 400 m fra Praia do Corpo Santo og 500 m fra Praia da Vinha da Areia. Der er tagterrasse med pool og havudsigt. Der er elevator og solterrasse. The property was very clean, newly renovated and had all the equipment we needed. It was a nice stay!

I had the best time at Solar de Santo Andre. Eduarda is a great hostess and the whole team at Solar de Santo Andre is very accommodating, hospitable, helpful and friendly. The house has been painstakingly renovated and the old rooms from earlier times have been made incredibly beautiful. The rooms, which are open to the public, are reminiscent of how Ponta Delgada used to be and how people used to live there. The guest rooms are very modern and equipped with all the necessary details to make you want to spend time there. I had booked the studio and was absolutely satisfied. The rooms are nicely furnished, are cleaned daily and you have everything you need for your vacation. Breakfast is served in the kitchen with a large table where all guests can sit down. The breakfast offers everything your heart desires: different types of bread, a selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee or tea is served as well as a homemade juice that varies daily. All guests meet at breakfast and the room invites you to chat. The garden with pool is perfect for relaxing after an eventful day. I had a wonderful time at the Solar de Santo Andre and can only recommend anyone to stay there!

DMCharme ligger 12 km fra Pico do Carvao og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og balkon. Denne feriebolig har terrasse og udsigt til den indre gårdhave. Pensionatet har udsigt over byen. The host was very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, close to all the points of interest, shops and bars. Especially good if you don’t rent a car. The rooms and common areas were very spacious.

He really cares for your wellbeing and for you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! He provided us with every help and assistance, from tips where to go out for dinner to rainy-day-program, with bath towels for each day and even bathtowels to go to the hot springs (which are a must do in our opinion but thats another story) The room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed (thanks for the anti-moskito-plug! Made our nights very peaceful). In the shared area is even a fully equipped kitchen, there is coffe and even a garden to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. Locationwise you can get to the city center via a short walk, there is one excellent fish restaurant down the street and you have a parking opportunity suitable for mainland europeans ;) Everything you need is close by. Excellent location, service, and value for money. The hosts are thoughtful and helpful, and it is fun to share the kitchen with guests and exchange experiences.

We stayed in the unit on the first floor that led out to the pool. It is bright, modern and very comfortable. The apartment had everything that we needed for our 1.5 week trip, including a crib and high chair for our baby. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any of our requests. The location of the apartment is very central and was a great base for exploring the rest of the island.
