Altitude 1900 Dive Resort - Sevan lake has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Chambarak. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Sevan away from the cluttered tourist infrastructure and an absolute MUST in Armenia if you are a diver or interested in water sports. We stayed for a few days in the "luxury" room with ceiling to floor views of the lake ( breathtaking and SO worth the extra price), and enjoyed swimming, diving, jet ski, and just having a beer and soaking in the views and direct access to water. The amenities were minimal, but convenient, functional and clean. The included breakfast and the cooked-on-the-spot lunches and dinners were delicious. Compliments to the chef! The diving facilities are top-notch and the staff's enthusiasm is infectious. I used the upper deck both to relax and watch a movie and to jump on a work call. An unexpected surprise was the stargazing -- if you step outside on the parking lot, you can see the Milky Way! We both fell in love with the place and are looking forwards to be back.

We spent a weekend at Mariam's family house. We were unfortunately sick, but Mariam's family has been really helpful by providing us all the medicine and the food we needed. The house is very remote, so if you're looking for something authentic and calm this is the place to be.
