We really enjoyed our stay. If was fantastic, and a lovely experience. Mary was incredibly welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, and we also paid for dinner on both nights and it was superb - a variety of homemade dishes, all freshly made and very very tasty. We ate and ate and kept eating :) The room was good, and a few different places/balconies to sit outside and relax in the sun. It's a few minutes walk from Haghpat monastery. We also did the walk from Haghpat to Sanahin (see Hike Armenia for the route) - a great walk, and then easy to get a short bus ride (or hitchhike, as we did) from Sanahin to Alaverdi, and then get the Alaverdi to Haghpat marshrutka back. Note: guesthouse is only open from April to October

This is a family hotel with the comfortable room and just amazing view. Hosts are super hospitable couple, who makes you feel at home. The breakfast was very good. Room was clean and specious. There is parking place in the yard. Haghpat monastery is in walking distance. I highly recommend this place!

amazing host who make you feel home. excellent experience to live in someone’s place. she cook what we asked for and provide all the drinks we also asked for. great service! she makes us save a lot of money with her advice and using her taxi friends instead of some other companies

5-8 minutes walking distance to Sanahin Monastery.Very pleasant time spent in this lovely yard with honest owner. Hope we could have more time to live there.

Perfect location in a historical house just next to the Sanahin Monastery. The hosts are a very friendly family and they make sure their guests feel comfortable and happy. They helped me to arrange taxis to all the monasteries located in the vicinity. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Very cozy place,beautiful house and great facilities. But the owner and her daughter are very pleasant people, they created a marvelous atmosphere there and we felt as if we’re at home. Moreover,they helped us to organize birthday party and it was wonderful!!!

Wonderful place! The hosts are extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean and had everything that was needed. Super location, just around 15 min by foot from Sanahin monastery. I really liked the place and would definitely stay there again if I'd come back to Sanahin/Alaverdi. Thank you!
