Located in the heart of Washington, D.C. the modern Hotel Madera boasts an on-site restaurant and bar services. Dupont Circle is just 2 minutes’ walk away. Great shower - water temperature and pressure were easy to control. Huge bathroom and bedroom area which was excellent for 2 pax. Plenty of space for both of us. Kettle was quick to boil water. Location was good - Firehook and Tatte bakeries nearby sell excellent pastries.

Hotel Riggs Washington DC mieści się w dawnej siedzibie Banku Narodowego Riggs, 5 minut od stacji metra Gallery Place - Chinatown. The location of the hotel is fabulous. It’s two blocks from a main subway line, which we utilized purchasing a 3 day pass, and close to the museums and memorials. The gym is state of the art and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and great bar to enjoy a drink. It’s also relatively close to the Old Ebbitt Grill, which we found to have the best food, drinks and atmosphere. Instead of trying to get a reservation we just sat at the bar which was great. Don’t miss the tour of the Capitol and the Library of Congress which were awesome.
