Hotel Californian har en utomhuspool och ligger intill Funk Zone i Santa Barbara, bara några steg från stranden. Hotellet har flera matställen och ett eget spa. We only stayed one night, and wish it could have been a week. A stunning hotel with great facilities and helpful staff. Hopefully will return soon.

This contemporary hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk to Stearns Wharf and the Santa Barbara beachfront. Free Wi-Fi is provided. All rooms include plush bathrobes in the en suite European-style bathrooms. The staff was nice and the room was clean and modern. The wifi was fast, so I could work from the room. I took Amtrak to SB, and the hotel is literally across the street, about a 2 minute walk. Would stay here again.

The hotel was in a good location - just a short walk to the seafront and downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is really quite quirky - with some lovely decoration and a funky feel. Liked the shared space downstairs in reception where there was an honesty bar and where a simple breakfast was served (tea, coffee, juice, some fruit, bagels and pastries). We hadnt expected this so was a nice extra. There was also a big fridge and freezer where guests could keep own items as there was nothing in the room for this. There was a really nice outside area with comfy seating, a clean pool, table tennis table. The room itself was comfy and my son (12) loved sleeping in the murphy bed which pulled down over the main double bed. Had a really nice welcome and the offer of a complimentary drink on arrival from a very lovely member of staff/owner (Derek?)
