It’s in a great location in the French quarter, quirky decor, lovely room, very friendly staff and nightly jazz. I saw the Trumpet Mafia who were amazing! Set in a restored 1884 Victorian mansion, the Melrose Mansion is situated in New Orleans' celebrated French Quarter on the historic Esplanade Avenue. Location was perfect and within walking to everything!!! Had a wonderful Honeymoon, staff is Great!!!

Situated on historic Esplanade Avenue, this New Orleans hotel is located in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, adjacent to the French Quarter district. This is one of our favorite hotels in New Orleans! We love the location. It is really close to Frenchmen St. and the French Market, as well as some of our favorite restaurants. The hotel has a lot of character, antique decor, and a beautiful courtyard area. The staff have always been extremely pleasant.
