From the minute the cab pulled up I felt like I’d gone back in time. Oh, it’s completely modern, with individual ac and good showers alright. But it seems like something out of a movie, an eccentric independent comedy when life was good and there was a kind of innocent charm despite the cool modernist vibe. The two desk managers spoke fluent English and were both effective and charming in dealing with my several offbeat issues. The place was full of couples who seemed to be there for a day or two (Not hours!) to have a fun few days, most of them Asian and the odd Westerner who seemed much less fun than the former. I felt right at home with the large Turkish population (great food) and occasional girl gang, right at home with working class surroundings, and Itaewon is full of local service workers. There’s smoking and drinking on a few corners, lots of lovely pig restaurants, pet dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees, I even saw a laid back Border Collie. I like busses over subways and lots were nearby. Fast food joints, tourist junk shops, Trans bars and a tailor and coffee houses. KFC, McDonald’s, Subway. A convenience store on every corner. There’s even a grocer a few blocks away where you will see… fruit!

We fell in love with this hotel - the room, the comfortable beds, the facilities, massage chair room etc - everything was extremely seamless and made our stay in Seoul very comfortable! Location is amazing, it’s in the heart of Yongsan neighbourhood and you have a ton of places to eat, drink and shop on your doorstep. Would book again without a doubt!

Hotel The Designers Seoul Stationは淑大入口駅（地下鉄4号線）の10番出口の外に位置し、ソウル駅から750mの便利なロケーションにあります。24時間対応のフロントデスクと無料の敷地内駐車場を提供しています。... The location is great. There is a subway (line4) in front of the hotel. It’s very convenient to travel in Seoul by subway and bus. Besides there are a heap of convenience store and coffee shop around the hotel even Olive Young. Everything in needed is around the hotel I traveled from Busan and arrived at the hotel before check in time (around 1:30 pm). I told the staff that I can wait at the reception area until the check in time because I was so tried. I waited around 30 min. The staff told me that the room was ready and they allowed me to check in before that time. That’s so nice.
