Hotel Ole Inn is very conveniently located. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a great variety of delicious food. It also provides complimentary curry rice with salad, drinks and coffee in the evening. The room is clean and well equipped.

Boasting a 15th-floor Italian restaurant, massage services and a spa, Hotel Associa is right next to JR Shizuoka Train Station. Rooms offer free wired internet, video-on-demand movies and a minibar. I don't even know how many times I've stayed at this hotel, probably 10 different times already. Associa is the best location when you plan to use the Shizuoka often. Hotel is kept very well and the price is not so bad as well. There are a lot of walkable locations and that is always a plus. I will definitely stay here again in a few months.

Minor detail: the room key has a wooden design, which is a fantastic touch to the overall nature theme of the hotel. The breakfast hall is vast and is open outside the breakfast hours (breakfast contains local dishes, and I highly recommend trying it). There, you can enjoy a working space + free coffee and tea. We also got some discounts for restaurants around the hotel, and we used this option for dinner. The street the hotel is located on is very picturesque, and we also enjoyed strolls in the neighborhood. The castle is within walking distance, as well as some shrines.

Great small clean and neat room. Well thought details, like pijamas and power points. Close to the station and shops. Very helpful staff at the reception. The bathroom space can be too confined for large people.

I like that it was super clean. Bathtub was very clean and made me feel comfortable bathing my grandson in it. Room was quiet. I heard no extraneous noise. Bed was comfortable and the tv was large, flat screen and had English language options. Temp control was great. Coffee shop across the street was convenient. Close to Shinkansen train station, nice bars nearby, and restaurants.
