This was probably our favourite overnight stay of our entire trip. The hosts were lovely, the food was fantastic, the room and beds were incredibly comfortable. If we could have we would have happily stayed longer. We have no doubt that we intend to go back in the future.

Great little guesthouse! The location is perfect, the staff very helpful and booked an amazing dinner for us.

Located in the historical town of Magome, Tajimaya features Japanese-style accommodations in a 110-year old building. Each room features a flat-screen TV, and guests can relax in the public bath. Everything was perfect about the stay, it was clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast served was very nice. This was my fav stay in Japan

GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA se află în cartierul Magome din Nakatsugawa, la 21 km de Parcul de agrement Enakyo Wonderland și la 41 km de Japan Taisho Village. Location is fantastic. Room was very comfortable. Futons and sheets extremely comfortable. Host was very accommodating and even prepared a small breakfast for us very early before our hike. Best of all was his effort to get a dinner reservation for us at an exceptional restaurant in walking distance. Fantastic meal and experience in a small village that closes up early.

Jeng, is so nice and helpful. Very responsive and guided me on many things! Would love to be back again in fall.

馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou se găsește în Nakatsugawa, la 20 km de Ōi, și are o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The host was super friendly and very helpful, even when we had some additional requests. Thanks so much for all the help! The rooms were veeery spacious (converted classrooms). The shared toilet & shower facilities were also very clean and nice—overall the building interior felt very new.
