Offering quiet street views and a shared lounge, Guest House Motomiya is set in the Magome district of Nakatsugawa, 20 km from Enakyo Wonderland and 40 km from Japan Taisho Village. This was probably our favourite overnight stay of our entire trip. The hosts were lovely, the food was fantastic, the room and beds were incredibly comfortable. If we could have we would have happily stayed longer. We have no doubt that we intend to go back in the future.

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Nedoko is an accommodation situated in Nakatsugawa, 21 km from Ōi and 21 km from Enakyo Wonderland. Great little guesthouse! The location is perfect, the staff very helpful and booked an amazing dinner for us.

Located in the historical town of Magome, Tajimaya features Japanese-style accommodations in a 110-year old building. Each room features a flat-screen TV, and guests can relax in the public bath. Everything was perfect about the stay, it was clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast served was very nice. This was my fav stay in Japan

Set in Nakatsugawa, 21 km from Ōi and 21 km from Enakyo Wonderland, GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA offers air conditioning. Location is fantastic. Room was very comfortable. Futons and sheets extremely comfortable. Host was very accommodating and even prepared a small breakfast for us very early before our hike. Best of all was his effort to get a dinner reservation for us at an exceptional restaurant in walking distance. Fantastic meal and experience in a small village that closes up early.

Just 40 metres from restored Edo-era post town Magome-Juku, Chaya Hotel has simple traditional rooms with futon bedding and a tatami-mat floor. everything is perfect! Esp. Jeng, is so nice and helpful. Very responsive and guided me on many things! Would love to be back again in fall.

Situated in Nakatsugawa and only 20 km from Ōi, 馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host was super friendly and very helpful, even when we had some additional requests. Thanks so much for all the help! The rooms were veeery spacious (converted classrooms). The shared toilet & shower facilities were also very clean and nice—overall the building interior felt very new.
