Attractively situated in Kyoto, THE GENERAL KYOTO Shijou Shinmachi features an American breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk.... The hotel is not a large hotel but it is huge in service levels and provisions. What we liked about the room is that it has everything that any traveller would need - good toiletries, fluffy towels, a range of Japanese teas to be introduced to us with a very thoughtful note on it's respective preparation methods. The bathroom and toilet provisions are top-notched. You'd have thought you were in a five-star hotel bathroom. In terms of space and size of room, of course, don't expect five-star space, but The General's room is comfortable, two single sofas, tv with US-CNN and the local Japanese channels. You can play your own Spotify music through the JBL bluetooth speaker with rich room-filling music. Situated two stops from Kyoto main station, it is just the right place for us. Not too busy/noisy and near enough to access all the important parts of our itinerary via the rail and bus networks. And to top is off, there is access to th executive lounge with afternoon teas and evening cocktails and drinks (including wines, beers, whiskey) and various japanese bites, snacks and cocktail nuts.

Aivan erinomainen, ystävällinen henkilökunta ja loistava palvelu. Huoneet olivat siistejä ja tyylikkäitä, sängyt mukavia. Sijainti suhteellisen rauhallinen, mutta silti tarpeeksi lähellä kaikkea. Erinomainen kokemus kokonaisuudessaan.

Beautiful and clean hotel, bilingual staff and perfect location. There is also a very good restaurant inside the hotel called Sincronia di Shinji Harada. Brilliant cuisine.

Best possible location in terms of both sightseeing and quick access to metro/train stations, excellent room with enough space, excellent breakfast, and very helpful staff.

Ideally set in Kawaramachi, 2 km from Yasaka Shrine, Hotel Musse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Meitetsu is situated 700 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.1 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum and 1.3... Everything about this place is perfect . The bathroom has a very smart design and use of space. Bedroom was nice and spacious. The amenities are great too. Really good quality. Overall I would stay again. Oh, the location was s perfect too. We went to and all you can eat meat just beside the hotel. Highly recommend. It was amazing.

Set in the Shimogyo Ward district in Kyoto, MIMARU KYOTO NISHINOTOIN TAKATSUJI offers 4-star rooms with free WiFi. Excellent hotel with incredibly comfortable rooms for a family, including larger ones. On site laundry was good and the staff was helpful and lovely. Comfortable beds and nice room setup overall.
