So many things to like! This was by far the most spacious room with a view, that we had in Kyoto. The beds were comfortable, the room had many amenities such as pajamas, slippers, kettle and teas, mini fridge, tooth brushes, combs, soap, shampoo, etc… what I was impressed with is a personal hand written note was presented in our room. Near to travel an and buses, walking distance to main attractions. The staff at the desk were very accommodating, helped us navigate to certain places we wanted to see. Just a wonderful experience.

The staff were very kind and accommodating, and the rooms spacious enough for our group! The variety of private bath options (both indoor and outdoor) were lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing. They also provide some free popsicles and yakult after your soak, which was super appreciated. As our booking included breakfast we were able to have some lovely food in the morning in our own little private area. Will definitely return if I ever come back to the area!

We love the view of the river from our room and the sound of the river is really soothing. Excellent location as it is off the crowded tourist area, but close enough to visit the Bamboo Forest very early in the morning. Good breakfast.

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. The station is stone throw from JR station and very easy to access.

Sun Members Kyoto Saga se află la doar 5 minute de gara JR Saga Arashiyama și pune la dispoziție un serviciu de transfer gratuit. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
