The breakfast was exceptional and the views from our room as well. The staff very attentive and the concierge very helpful.

Situated in Kyoto and a 15-minute drive from Nijo Castle, Rhino Hotel Kyoto features a restaurant. The nearest station is Saiin Station, a 2-minute walk from the property. The room we stayed in was more spacious than other hotels of similar stars.

Access from JR Saga Arashiyama station could not be easier! A perfect choice to enable an early stroll along the bamboo path. The breakfast is a very novel experience: with an English brochure and help at hand, guests make their own tofu at their table. The small cafe is also very convenient for lunch. Nearby Randen line gives access to many other iconic places in north-west Kyoto.

The staff are very polite and helpful, best hotel service I've seen since I came to japan. The hotel is located in the best area where you have a view of the river from the cafe. You can go sightseeing in kyoto or to the bamboo forest with 10 mins on foot. You're also near a train station.

Sun Members Kyoto Saga er í aðeins 5 mínútna fjarlægð frá JR Saga Arashiyama-stöðinni með ókeypis skutlu. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

It’s a beautiful house with a very spacious room. A small garden also pretty. I’ve met the owner mother and father and they are so lovely. I talk about anything with the owner father’s. Hopefully I can stay again in here if I visit kyoto. This is the best place to stay so far for my 5th Kyoto trips.
