HOTEL CROWN HILLS FUJINOMIYA, hotel in Fujinomiya

Boasting a spa and wellness centre, HOTEL CROWN HILLS FUJINOMIYA is situated in Fujinomiya in the Shizuoka region, 44 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 45 km from Fuji-Q Highland.

I love the welcoming bar and the breakfast of the hotel. The welcoming bar start from 16 end at 23, the most attractive things is they got whiskey and Shōchū for free. Also the scramble egg and daily specials of the breakfast is very delicious.

GOTEN TOMOE residence, hotel in Fujinomiya

Opened in February 2018, GOTEN residence is set in Fujinomiya and offers accommodation in a remodeled 80 year old wooden villa.

This is a 90yr old Japanese home. It has the character of an older home (rooms, beds, porch, windows, doors), but with the modern touch (toilet, kitchen, bathroom). The home is very well finished with traditional items but still very comfortable. If you are after a traditional home experience, this is the one to choose.

Goraikou Sansou Mt Fuji New 7th Station Fujinomiya Route, hotel in Fujinomiya

Located in Fujinomiya, Goraikou Sansou Mt Fuji New 7th Station Fujinomiya Route is 16 km from Lake Tanuki. Free WiFi is available. The property is located a 90-minute hike from the 5th station on Mt.

It's a hut on mount Fuji, kinda a once in a lifetime thing. And 150 dollars for two people is pretty great. Food was tasty, it was warm inside, the mood was great, and the beds weren't too bad. Much more comfortable and private than the higher stations

There are so much green open areas and trails, lakes, waterfalls, ranches, historic sites under the gentle gaze of Mount Fuji. Just gorgeous and less crowded. Getting around even with public buses are easy. Just follow the bus schedule for connecting buses.

It was a nice quiet town with the most amazing UNESCO Heritage Centre, well worth a visit. Because we were there in off season June, the weather was overcast and cloudy and we were unable to see Mt Fuji, but we did get a glimpse of it for about half an hour or so! We didn't realize this is usually the case during these months and the chances of seeing Mt Fuji are quite rare. Had some of the best noodles in Japan there. We went for a walk in the evening through the town and there was no one about, it was bliss... A lot of the bars and restaurants close on a Monday. Private bus tours only run at weekends from 11am to 2pm not during the week, which we didn't know till we got there, but we used public transport and that was fine. Local bus goes to the waterfall and are relatively frequent on a Sunday.( we missed private bus tour)

Loved the Fujisan Hongu Shrine and the Mount Fuji World Heritage Centre nearby. Both are in walking distance of the train station. Had a nice lunch lunch at Fujiboku on the same street as the Shrine. The views of Mt. Fuji were extraordinary.

This is a perfect town to enjoy Mt. Fuji. Makaino Farm, Lake Tanuki and Shirato Fall are awesome. We had rented a car with Toyota Rent a Car in Fujinomiya. It's very easy and fun to drive in/around the town.

    We loved Fujinomiya.

We loved Fujinomiya. It’s pretty quiet, but once we got our bearings and a few tips from our accommodation hosts we had great meals. Can easily see Fuji san. Close to Shrirato falls, and we drove up to Fujinomiya 5th station. The gem of the town is the Fuji World heritage centre. We could only spend a little over an hour there, well worth the visit to understand Fuji better. Easy JR access. Highly recommend and would guess a less crowed way to get to see Fuji, than travelling from Tokyo.

Fujinomiya is a small town dedicated to climbing Fuji-San and taking advantage of the many parks and open spaces that offer hiking. Public transportation is good to other villages. It is not pretentious, the people are quiet and gracious The museum on Fuji-San is amazing - a must see even if you do not climb

Itaru san was very nice bringing us to a nearby onsen and his food was amazing! The surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet. We were lucky to be able to see fujisan clearly! He also took us to a nearby Cafe which was beautiful. He took us to the station after as well, he is an amazing hardworking guy that shared hie story with us. This has been the most authentic Japanese experience we've had while being in Japan. Thank you Itaru San, we will come again.

Our experience with FUUUN was exceptional :) Despite some issues we`ve had with the driving license resulting in not being able to drive the car around, the staff made all the efforts so that we still have a good time while we are in Fujinomiya - they`ve met and drove us to a very nice place with a lovely Fuji view where we could camp. We also got picked up the next day and dropped off directly to the train station. Amazing customer service!

Much better than expected. Good value for money and only 5mins walk to the train/bus station. There was also a cute market on the street outside one of the days we stayed. Small kitchen facilities but a nice communal space and the dorms are super spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Not much space to have your luggage near you. But they also keep luggage before and after check in/out for free.

Good value hotel with good sound proofing. One of the rooms we booked was on the first floor but you couldn’t hear much outside. The rooms were small and nothing fancy, but they felt clean which was most important to me. The check out process was really easy.
