It's a beutiful farm situated in such a gorgeous valley with mouintains, sheeps and little lake. The nature itself is an experience you will never forget. And the silence around it's so calming. The accomodation itself is very nice too, comfortable and clean. Only regret is that we didn't ask if we can cuddle the sheeps. They were so cute...

Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. The location of the cabin is secluded and allows to easily see the northern lights. The view around is amazing - it is difficult to describe in words its intensity in the middle of winter. We watched it and the glow from the cozy dining area and it was spectacular. Very short driving distance from the photogenic mountain Kirkjufellsa. The beds are very comfortable, the wood paneling on the walls makes you feel good. The access road is in good condition, there is an adjacent parking lot. The owner lives nearby and is available for any questions or requests. We couldn't ask for more. For us, the place is very special and was perfect.

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Set in Hellnar in the West Iceland region, Hellnar Ocean View Villa offers accommodation with free private parking. Location was perfect - great views and at start of hike to Anarstapi. The jacuzzi was amazing and lack of light pollution in the area allowed us to see northern lights. There were various supplies in the pantry which was useful. All rooms equipped with comfortable bedding and bathroom had good shampoo. Amazing standard of accommodation.
