If you enjoy wine this is a must destination! 250+ vineyards most with tasting opportunity and many with great dining! Close to Cape Town and wonderful surrounding country. To enjoy at its best a stay of 4+ nights is best.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves. The staff are wonderful.

Stellenbosch with its town, restaurants and surrounding wineries are an absolute must while visiting South Africa. If you want a superb steak, go to The Fat Butcher. If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. If you want stunning views and great wine, coffee and food visit Ernie Els Winery.

We had a wine tasting included and there was a discount on massages. We also played golf at the range which was included. The gym and pool have everything one needs and is very clean. Our room was cleaned twice a day. Our highlight was the wine tasting as the staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also loved the screening room, which we got to book for a night to watch a movie.
