The hotel is located near many amenities including a grocery, fast food, petrol, laundromat, liquor store, smoke shop, pizza place and just down El Camino Real heading West, many more shops, restaurants and a Fed Ex centre. The rooms are kept very clean and the staff were friendly & nice. There's also a pool in the front of the hotel. It is accessible by bus if you don't drive. The 5 freeway is literally right across the street so you can go wherever you need to in So Cal. The room also included internet, cable TV, a microwave and a fridge. There's also a free phone in each room that accesses any number in the 714 area code. Other calls aren't possible.

So I actually bought this hotel from May 6 through the 10th and then again from May 10 through May 17th however, I noticed that many parts of the hotel are very dirty. So the first room they put me in, as soon as I got into the room I smelled a lot of marijuana smoke and I asked to be changed to another room because clearly someone was smoking weed on the premises closeby and it was getting into the room. I didn't want to smell that so I requested a different room and they move me to a room at the end of the hall. Even after moving me to the new room, I continued to smell someone smoking cigarette smoke in one of the other rooms. This was very confusing since they advertise that they are a non smoking hotel. The secondhand smoke would come in under the door of that room, and I would have to put paper and plastic under that gap in the door in order to prevent the smoke from coming in. It was horrible and it happened several times. I started to read the other reviews on this hotel, and I saw that someone noticed that there was no smoke detector in their room. I looked up to my ceiling and I saw there is no smoke detector in my room either. So I sent a message to the hotel owner and I said I noticed there is no smoke detector in this room and that's a violation of California law and also you have people smoking here routinely. It is a huge safety issue. In response to this, the very next day they brought a smoke detector and then the owner came and suddenly said I was causing problems. I said, how am I causing problems?? Because I told you that there's no smoke detector in the room? He said he didn't like the way I was talking to him and he said I had to leave and that he couldn't refuse service for any reason because he is the owner. All of this happened because he is angry that I called him out because of the smoke detector. This happened while I was in the middle of trying to take a nap and with no notice whatsoever.

Located close to Santa Ana airport, has onsite parking, nice and clean bed and bath, friendly staff.

Water pressure was great. There is a microwave and fridge in the room which is great for travelling with kids to store & warm milk. They allowed us to check out late up to 3.30pm as our flight was at 11pm, for a very reasonable 25 USD fee.
