Beautiful and peaceful place to stay.
The Kasbah is just amazing, spacious and really nicely decorated. From the top of the kasbah, on the roof, you will get an amazing view of the area.
Our room, the one with balcony, was actually way bigger than expected, it included a small living room and a resting area in addition to the room and bathroom.
The host were really nice, giving us some tips on our next destination.
Loved the pool to refresh and the 2-3 sitting areas around the house and garden.
Great place to stay for visiting the Roses valley or Dades.
I would definitely recommend and come back again.
Set in a traditional, Berber building, this B&B is 5 mi from El Kelaa M’gouna. Guests can enjoy the views of the surrounding rose valley and mountains from the rooftop terrace.

Google maps were incredible getting us to this property - not an easy feat. It’s surrounded by old crumbling homes and you feel like you’re going wrong! Our host’s son greeted us with great English, served us tea and then showed us our beautiful room. It had four beds , very colorfully decorated. There was a sofa, small eating area and surprisingly a fridge! The room led on to a lovely terrace overlooking the interesting neighborhood.
When Abdul, our lovely host, arrived, he gave us an hour long walk around the area, pointing out all the trees and fruits he’s growing - fantastic.
Dinner and breakfast were both superb. Can’t recommended this place enough. It’s obviously not the four seasons but gives you a far better view of Moroccan life in a small village.
Located next to the village of Agoulzi in the Valley of the Roses, this environmentally-friendly guest house is 5.6 mi from Kelaa M' gouna.

Super local experience in this amazing place. The view is wonderful, the food is amazing and the family that runs this place is super welcoming and caring! Highly recommend for a great taste of true Morocco!
This characteristic Moroccan guest house is located on a cliff top and overlooks the Valley of Roses. It offers soundproofed rooms with a traditional décor and free Wi-Fi access.

Kasbah Assafar, Aziz, Fatima & everyone are wonderful. A great place to break up a trip through the Valley of the Roses & the road of a thousand Kasbahs. For us it was a unique opportunity to stay in a very luxurious Berber Kasbah & stroll through the type of garden valley typical around here that has sustained life for the locals for centuries. The food, from the local gardens, was excellent. Aziz runs trips & I'm sure is a great guide as well as being very invested in helping his community & share his knowledge & love of traditional ways while being firmly planted in the 21st Century. Thankyou.
Well signed, we found it fine after dark. Cell phones work & a Taxi from Kalaat M"Gouna shouldnt cost very much.

It was a comfortable stay.
It was a comfortable stay. However breakfast was disappointing. Just bread and jam/honey. No eggs, fruit or yoghurt. Especially as it was Ramadan it would have been nice to serve tourist a bit more so they can get through the day as practically all cafes and restaurants are closed during the day as they should be.

A little slice of paradise a few kilometres out from the town centre of Kalaat MGouna (The valley of the Roses) which is easily accessible using public transport.
A tranquil oasis with stunning views of the surrounding area. Plenty of terraces to get away from the bustle of modern life and soak in the picturesque beauty.
The accommodation is fantastic, Brigitte and the staff feel more like a family. The food was traditional Moroccan, each meal was exceptional. This is one place we will return to again.
We had an amazing experience here, The hotel owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist us in any way possible. His kindness and willingness to help made our stay truly enjoyable.
We stayed for two nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast provided was delicious, and we loved the warm welcome we received upon arrival. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kalaqat m Gaouna. Thanks for making our stay so memorable!
New Construction! All the comforts of a modern hotel done in meticulous Moroccan style. The owners are a lovely couple from Switzerland that poured their heart and soul into making this hotel into a relaxing , comfortable and luxurious retreat for their guests. We spent two glorious nights at Bab El Atlas and could have easily stayed another 5 nights.Breakfast and dinner were delicious. There's a 15th century kasbah 2 minute walk from the hotel that's fun to explore.
I loved this hotel so much and wish I could have stayed longer! I was warmly welcomed by Mohammad and shown around the hotel. The views of the surrounding areas/old berber houses are breathtaking. There are lounge areas for guests to relax and enjoy the views.
My room was cosy yet comfortable, the decor was lovely and shower had hot water.
The gardens are stunning and within a short walk, the delicate fragrant roses will tantalise your senses.
Beautiful ancient Kasbah overlooking the gardens of the Mgouna River valley (& an even older adobe kasbah)
Perfect Amazigh reception & welcome for the entire stay .. nothing's too much trouble.
Great meals
Great views
Great Amazigh music after dinner ... Shukran all you boys
.... & I was presented with the earring I lost there 6 weeks earlier .... magic staff !!
I had the best sleep here of the 3 hotels that I stayed within Kalaat Mgouna. The room at the back was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the room was cool + spacious. Everything was perfect for me, except the pillows were very big + hard (but that is my preference).
I would stay again - thank you!
We immediately felt at home during our stay. The entire house is very clean and super nicely located. It was by far one of our best accommodations in Maroc. The owner even took us on a small tour through the surroundings after our arrival
Without a doubt one of our favourite hotels in Morocco. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are huge, the beds are amazing and the location is unbeatable with an amazing view over the Rose Valley. 10/10!
We did a beautiful walk though a gorge with a guide from the hotel. We were the only ones there. Very special. About 2 hours (easy) walking.
The views from the rooms are stunning!
It’s a hidden gem, highly recommended. Photos are accurate. The team running the hotel is great, very nice performance after the dinner. Mustafa was a great host.
