Very comfortable apartment. Good quality kitchen equipment and tools. It had everything one might need - even tea bags, coffee, sugar, kitchen towels, the dishwasher and the tabs for it! Even oven! The room had enough space to fit our 4 suitcases without them being on the way. Bed was big and comfy. I think it would be a nice hotel to stay for several days or a week!
The check-in system had some problems with our reservation asking us to pay the whole price again (we paid online in advance). Luckily, there was someone from the hotel staff and he very kindly helped to resolve the issues. But several people before us checked in and it took them like only 30s. Check-out was quick.

A quaint pub was on the property and although they did not have a kitchen to provide dinner there were local options nearby and, they did offer and traditional Icelandic breakfast in the morning as well as offer a delicious lamb soup that we had for lunch while staying there. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you're going to be in the area.DanaUnited States

As it is on the outskirts of the Reykjavik time is saved by not having to bother with city traffic on leaving to excursions and coming back. It's also convenient that fast food and two supermarkets are next to hotel. We were able to arrange late night check-in and baby cot with short phone call to hotel couple of hours beforehand.
