Of course it's paid for by the rather high room rate (compared to hotels in Baghdad that cannot be booked online), but the daily basket with fruit, biscuit and drinks was still a nice touch. The breakfast was definitely a decent one, though nothing special compared to what I had at several much cheaper hotels in Iraq. I really appreciated that I could check in and get my room already when I arrived at 7 a.m.

They also prepared a really delicious dinner for me and my mom, as we were too tired to eat out. The staff was very attentive and checked up on us to ensure we were happy with everything. I would recommend Shanasheel Palace to everyone I know!
