Isolated location at the end of a small village - quiet, peaceful. Quietness is only interrupted by local domestic and wild animals during the night, which also gives special countryside vibe. :)
It is good that they offer food, especially breakfast and dinner, because there are only two restaurants located 15 to 20 minutes by car. Food was good, as well us domestic hard liquor.
They have mosquito nets on windows and our room was mosquito free, but make sure you take your own repellents for sitting outside and going into nature.
Room was rustical, traditional, clean and just like on the photos. Linen and towels were nice and clean.
They have bikes for rent, which was nice experience - most of those small villages near river and swamps are located in a radius of approximately 20 km.

Very cool 200 year old oak framed building. Rustic has never been a more fitting adjective. More storks than people on this stretch of road and a nice walk into the heart of the nature park.
Nikša, a former ranger in the park, filled in for his mother while we were there. He was a highlight - let the kids feed his horse and play with "puppy" and was able to answer any question we came up with.
Long story short, this is not a standard hotel experience but it is absolutely one of the friendliest, most unique places we have stayed.

The village is small and quaint. The people are so friendly. The staff at the hotel were the best!! I made a mistake in my booking and they were so helpful. The food was delicious!! It was the perfect stop over before heading to the park in the morning. WOuld stay again.

Excellent hotel in eastern Croatia, close to the highway, and right in the center of the town. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple, but good. Shopping locations are nearby.

I liked that I had to use Google Translate to communicate with owners. Why? Because it made the experience of being with a genuine local and real. I learned how to use it in an easily shared conversation.
I also liked that the home is in a small village and near a wonderful nature reserve.
The care to prepare meals for me, what I wanted, didn't want (meat), and whenever I wanted from their own garden was outstanding. Being personally taken to the nature reserve and to an, ATM was above and beyond service.
My work as a customer service consultant for major corporations like Ford, BMW, Harley Davidson, etc. qualifies me to describe this experience as a real treat, but only if you if you want to learn about the Croatian culture.
