The property was in a great location - situated in walking distance. But honestly, it was the employees! From check-in to check-out, the staff were beyond exceptional! They went out of their way to assist with excursions, spa treatments, etc. I can't commend them enough!

Beautiful vistas and elevated over Caldera with stunning sunsets and great views. Avoid the town during the day from 11.00am to 5.00pm to miss the crowds due to the cruise ships swamping the place.
I hired a scooter for two days at 40 euros but don't settle for first offer shop around as it made a 30 euro saving and haggle a bit to get a deal.

Cute town with lots of paths to explore, shops to go in, and restaurants to enjoy. Views were incredible and sunsets a must. Trip to the crater was fun. Hot springs aren't hot. Beaches were difficult to walk on. Would have liked to spend more time in Oia. Buses are comfortable but crowded.

We had a blast exploring the entire island.
We had a blast exploring the entire island. We came during their winter when temperatures were 55-59 F, and for the first few days, had little sunshine and lots of wind. We definitely needed our warm jackets, and bought gloves and a hat. However, the last few days were sunny and delightful. Best thing was, there were no crowds, anywhere, in January. We are photographers, and delighted in the photos everyone comes to Santorini to get, without having to work around the crowds. We rented a small Fiat Panda from Sixt, and it took us up the switchbacks to Ancient Thera, down to Akrotiri to the ruins, up to Oia and around the island to multiple small towns to explore and photograph. We found some "local" restaurants that were open and filled, and sampled wonderful Greek food. It was a wonderful time, and we would come again in January to avoid the crowds!

Santorini is such a wonderful island.
Santorini is such a wonderful island. And Fira is such a great place to stay given that it is centrally located between Akrotiri and Oia, and not too far from the airport. Weather was fantastic for November. We were only a few blocks from the bus station which has buses running to all parts of the island fairly frequently (helps to avoid taxis which tend to charge a bit much). The sunsets from both Fira and Oia were magical, as are the walks along the charming streets of both towns.

Santorini is no longer a relaxing vacation spot.
Santorini is no longer a relaxing vacation spot. Five cruise ships were in port and, therefore, pedestrian streets were so crowded in Fira and Oia that you could barely move. I visited in 2011, which was nice. Friends warned me not to return in 2023 because of crowding but I disregarded their advice. They were right. Santorini would be wise to strictly limit the number of cruise ships. If you go there, try to schedule your visit when there are no ships in port. The day we left there were no ships and strolling around was actually a pleasure. It's a beautiful island - but overcrowded.
Excellent location in the heart of Fira, in the middle of the restaurants and shops. Breathtaking caldera and sunset views, a lot of people come to the hotel restaurant at sunset for the view. Free wine and fruits were provided and it’s a really nice gesture. The hotel has different room types so make sure to look very well at the pictures before you pick your room, we had the junior suite and it’s very small inside. There is no privacy at all in the jacuzzi/terrace but that’s the case for all Santorini.
The view is breathtaking, the hotel is unique, the room is perfect. Different breakfast every morning, homemade Greek food accompanied by fresh orange juice. The staff makes you feel welcome every moment. The location couldn't be better. Everything is new, elegant through typical Greek simplicity. The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't imagine a better location and environment in Santorini. Is quiet and private and in 1 min you are in the location where everything happens in Fira
Lilium hotel was super awesome! the staff was very very kind and friendly, they explained about Santorini island, about the most popular places and restaurants, and everything else you need to know.
The room was great and had a panorama view of the volcano.
The location was also perfect for us, about 5 min drive from the center of Fira, and the hotel has a service of free shuttles to and from the center of Fira.
We will surely come back to Santorini and this specific hotel!
I loved everything about my stay here. From the moment I checked in, the staff (mainly Evi) made me feel welcome and cared for. They were always available, the rooms were clean and stocked with everything you could need, and there was a great pool/ leisure area in the back. The hotel was only a few minutes away from the bus station/ main square where all the shops and food were. All in all, fantastic experience will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Santorini.
The Anessis Hotel is the ideal choice for those who want to stay in Santorini!! It is a few steps away from the center of Fira (literally 5 minutes walk from the main square), with the advantage of being away from the chaos of the center and with private parking and swimming pools - perfect for those who want to relax! Dimitri and the staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend it!! Hugs to everyone, from Giulia&Alberto
Excellent service, breakfast was large with many options. Despina was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, activities and transportation. Wonderful location close to cable car and center of Santorini. Great spot to begin Fira to Oia walking trail, easy to bring bus back to Santorini bus station about 10 minute walk to hotel,
The pool was very refreshing. Great view of
old port and Caldera. Would stay again.
The host, Chris is a very kind and helpful person. Always with a smile on and ready to help with whatever needs we had. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel is located in a quiet area, Fira city center being 10-15 minutes away by foot (quite a steep path, though). Also there's a great view towards the sea and sunrise in the sea view apartments. We will surely come back here for another stay in Santorini.
The room was modern, clean and comfortable, although a bit small.
The hotel is right next to Fira’s center but in a quiet street, so you don’t have the noise.
The hotel offers a day tour that takes you around the island, to the most iconic points. We did it and it was really nice! Also, the guide, Nikos, was super kind and friendly, and told us lots of interesting facts and stories about Santorini. Thanks Nikos!
Loved this hotel. Great for a budget trip to Santorini. Right next to the bus station where you can go anywhere for a euro or two. Supermarket and good value food options nearby. And a few minutes to the cliff face to see the classic Santorini views.
The guy at the front desk Ledio was super helpful in giving advice on what to do.
I was really happy I chose this place.
Everything! A beautiful hotel, 5 minute walk into Fira. Great location the 3 bells of Fira is just behind this hotel! The staff were all exceptional could not do enough for you, so helpful. Its clean, modern but also has so many wonderful traditional Greek Features. Its perfect for couples who want to relax and not pay a fortune for accommodation in santorini.
Location was perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to the town of Fira. Property was so beautiful! Pool was so unique and fun. Our private hot tub overlooked the ocean. Bright white buildings which made it feel Santorini all the way. Staff was very accommodating, helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Fira.
I had a lovely stay at Villa Ilios and infact stayed an extra night there for my stay in Santorini. The location is excellent, near Central Fira and bus stops to anywhere on the island. This is a family run hotel and the staff here are so helpful. The rooms are simple but comfortable and immaculately clean. Perfect for a short stay.
The hotel is very close to central Fira and the bus station which made it very easy to get anywhere on Santorini. Luca was super helpful and gave us lots of good tips. Breakfast was also great and the general facilities were good. Highly recommend!
The hotel was a short walk from the action in Fira. Also, the hotel has a car park which made it easy if you've hired a car as parking is difficult in Fira. Plus, we enjoyed the pool particularly because it can get hot and dusty in Santorini.
Arriving at City Break hotel we felt like we had won the Santorini jackpot! Firstly, outstanding value for money. Secondly, beautiful, clean and quiet rooms. Thirdly, perfect location in Fira with easy access to everywhere.
Gorgeous property. Amazing view. Very friendly staff. Perfect location. Fira is just a shuttle ride away, then from there you can take a local bus to anywhere on the island. Will stay here again if I am ever in Santorini.
Everything was brilliant about this hotel. Cleaning staff, reception staff, bar staff. Room was lovely and pool area brilliant to chill out after a busy day around Fira. Amazing price for Santorini too!
Beautiful hotel, in an amazing location right in the heart of Fira. The staff are lovely, so friendly and very helpful. Pool is amazing with a view across Santorini. Room is furnished beautifully too.
Charming centrally-located hotel with an amazing staff. The front desk concierge gave us recommendations and was very knowledgable. Pool is a bonus! Good value compared to other hotels in Santorini.
The location of Atlantis Hotel is one of the best on Santorini. Overlooking the bay with exceptional sunset views. The terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast offers the and view.
