Loved this town.
Loved this town. Just as pretty as Mykonos town but less expensive and less crowded. Lots of locals, no cruisers. Good selection of restaurants. Very nice waterfront. The Apollo Temple was cool—easily accessible and free. Stayed here for two nights, did not venture out to the rest of the island, and could have been perfectly happy staying another 1-2 nights just exploring the town.

Great island to visit - Naxos Town has a lot of good restaurants, plus a good bag wash laundry service - the Captain's laundry. The towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos are well worth a visit. Centrally located, very convenient to waterfront, shops and restaurants in Naxos Chora, but set back from the street. The hosts were a wonderful family, the apartment itself was truly like a home. The photos on the website are accurate, but it is even more charming in person. We loved this maisonette so much, can't wait to return!!!
