Right in the middle of the city with a great view! There was just a couch when we just entered the room and then another, separate room with the bed, table and bathroom. So, it was very convenient for our family of 4 to have some privacy.

Our room was modern and had a fireplace with a glowing “fire” that made the room cosy. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the modern rain shower fixture as well as the handheld shower head were great. The view from our room on the 3rd floor was beautiful. Everything was very clean and the staff attentive to all our requests. Their new restaurant, The Sprig, served the best Eggs Benedict I have eaten, and dinner was very good. Wait staff were friendly and the manager very helpful.

The cottage was in a great location for touring Skye. It was decorated well and an easy walk to Hebridean Inn for dinner. We also went to Red Skye for dinner another night and it was terrific.

It had a kitchen. I'm not sure if they mentioned that in what I saw on Booking .com

Breakfast was good and host and hostess were very accommodating
They seem kind of under staffed at the moment. I’m not sure if it was only during my stay but they dropped the ball a lot. For the price I had to pay to stay there it is not worth it. But the room was comfy and the staff that was there were very helpful, but very over worked.

Nice place and good gift shops and lovely views.
One thing which was awful was the harbour restaurant- thought we would treat ourselves to good meal as advertising in window slow cooked lamb. Overpriced and underwhelming and very rude owner. Do not waste your money here !!

We liked Nothing about the Lodge or surroundings if you are happy to have WEEDS around your lodge and DUSTBINS as a view and don't mind being behind a Hostel and Undertaker, then go for it. The lodge was not equipped for 3 audults, very small, we found 1 frying pan 1small pot, there was no brush to sweep floor, the kitchen units are dated and not fitted well. The showers were tiny. To Sum up initially looks good, but very poor on closer inspection. This is without a doubt nothing but a WORKHORSE TO MAKE as much money out of the guests who stay at this property. Whoever owns this property needs to get their act together as the 6 lodges are no more than an extension to the hostel. GIVE THIS PROPERTY A WIDE BERTH For 4 uncomfortable nights we paid just under £1200, and I do intend to take this matter further with the owner.AA.

Broadford is a boring "wide spot in the road" with little to "recommend" it. The highlight is the bus transfer station AND THE ONLY Co-Op full service grocery store...be sure and stop...few or no other choices. Keep on going...the scenery and driving on Skye are all better away from Broadford.

Beautiful location, very attractive little village, lots of places to stay and eat especially in season. Good starting point for all the trips we made over three days. Hebridean Inn best for food but Broadford Hotel worth a visit.

Broadford is well situated for a visit to Skye and also to take the wee ferry to Glenelg in the summer. It is a very small town with a couple of restaurants, a chip shop, a co-op and nice places to walk a dog by the shore.
The excellent breakfast was the only stand-out part of this property. There were croissants, fruits, and homemade eggs, porridge and other items made to order. The service at breakfast was friendly and very nice. Although the hotel is on the main highway, there is almost no traffic at night. The room came with some biscuits and coffee/tea. There is a grocery store with a gas station across the street and a few restaurants nearby.
I loved everything. The house was uber-clean and bright. The host had been so kind to leave some complementary food for us on the table upon arrival and the lock with the key was easy to find.
The location is also pretty strategic, as the cottage is close to Broadford, which is probably one of the biggest centres of the isle of Skye, and you can find a Co-op supermarket and a petrol station at a distance of 2 minutes by car.
Awkward to find as it is tucked behind the backpackers hostel. There is a sign at the end of the road Lovely view from the Lodge. There are 6 lodges which were only built this summer. Broadford is a good position for exploring the island. Two bathrooms / shower rooms. WIFi was a bonus. Heating was good and terrace for sitting outside. We were welcomed to the lodges and shown now to work the heating,,cooker and WiFi
I think this was our favorite guest house in 3 weeks traveling around Scotland. Sarah is the most delightful host! Breakfast was to die for, don’t miss the special porridge! The guestroom was large, the common room comfortable and roomy, with great views over the water. The perfect place to explore the Isle of Skye. She gave us recommendations for other towns we would be seeing later. Such a pleasant experience!
Didn't even expect such lovely decorated and spacious lodge, as I have not seen photos on the website. Kitchen well equipped with dishes and utilities. Comfy sofa and beds with fresh, clean linen. Bug free. Perfect location in the one of biggest villages, great if you are about travel across whole Isle of Skye.
Not a bad location, next to restaurants, supermarket, local small stores, etc. A reasonably convenient place to stay on Skye (if everything else in your price range is booked). Waterfront rooms have great views. Recent renovation. OK place to stay when you just want a bed and somewhere to put your stuff.
The view was beautiful and you could lie on the bed and look at it. We were on the top floor 3. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very convenient position for visiting Skye. Try the “outdoor” cafe Lean To down the road. Excellent coffee and toasties.
The cabin is in a good location for someone visiting Skye for the first time with supermarket ,local shops and limited eateries takeaways nearby. The cabin was clean, well decorated and appointed offering everything in practical terms of what someone might desire for a short stay.
It's really a great place for budget travelers. Also, the kitchen space and common rooms are very large and seem to be able to accommodate many people. Staff was extremely helpful with getting settled and also with friendly tips about visiting sights in Isle of Skye.
This is a very charming hotel with a beautiful view from the restaurant. Breakfast was good. The staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming! The deluxe room was spacious and pretty. It had a kettle with coffee. The bar was nice to have a drink at the end of the day.
The room had a beautiful view across to isle of Scalpay. Our hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable about Skye. We much appreciated their restaurant advice which turned out very well for us. The breakfast room that doubled as a lounge and breakfast choice
Beautiful, very clean, nice attention to detail, the shower was so lovely with good heat & water pressure and the bed was the comfiest we have had. Our fave stay in Scotland! Wonderful breakfast.
Wr liked everything about Skerrols, Broadford and Skye. I wrote a more comprehensive review last year - this is our 2nd visit which should tell you all you need to know!
Excellent accommodation, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Fresh milk, croissants and biscuits were available on arrival. Good location for touring the Isle of Skye
The location of the hotel just over the Skye Bridge was very good and the views from the hotel simply stunning when the tide was in. Great breakfast on offer too.
Hidden Gem of our trip for hotels. Little off season. We had perfect view from our hotel. Morgan was a one woman show. So friendly. Give this woman a raise.
