Great communication prior to our arrival & a warm welcome from Tricia. Literally everything we needed, spotless & so comfortable. Great location for walking our 2 dogs & to have the enclosed garden was perfect. Lots of hot water, great views & will definitely return. Homemade biscuits delicious & the dog treats well received!

Rudelle was handed over to us by Christophe. It was the only time we saw Christophe and tried to find him to thank him when we left but he was presumably busy with the grape harvest. The house was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. There were so many extra little touches including a lovely welcome pack (the wine from the vineyard was delicious). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the middle of the vineyards. Unfortunately we couldn't control the occasional rain showers although we were able to enjoy the sun at other times sitting out in the garden watching the sun go down several evenings and eating outside was lovely. There honestly wasn't anything we didn't like. We highly recommend booking Rudelle. We will always remember our stay there!

The location is stunning and the property lovely with 270 degree views. Our host Charmaine left a welcome basket for us which was very thoughtful and gratefully received. It is so peaceful, we had booked for 3 nights and were lucky we could stay an extra night. Locally there are some gorgeous villages and vineyards to explore. A little piece of heaven.

Very lovely room with large bathroom and really comfortable bed! Christine (the owner) just so charming and helpful about the area and restaurants etc. We were house hunting and she recommended a Notaire, whom we are now using. Also, very good breakfast the next morning.

A brilliant stay at Le Portanel - very good hospitality, lovely room and garden, and exceptional breakfasts every day. Also a great location just 5 minutes walk into the village centre. Couldn't ask for more!
