We loved everything about this experience. It’s not just a place to stay, it is an immersion in a world that few people ever experience. When the tourists leave you have the place to yourselves (besides the owners), including the grounds. It is by far the most beautiful of all of the chateau’s in the Loire valley.

A very quiet town with just one historic building of note, the chateau.
This was not very accessible, however, even the grounds, and did not seem at all welcoming.
Nothing much else to see or do.
The room was gorgeous with French doors that opened up to the view. The birdsong was amazing!
The hotel is round the corner from the castle, which is well worth a visit.
The breakfast was superb with fresh and homemade produce and delicious coffee.
We had a long chat with the owners whilst there and they are lovely, lovely people.
This place is not a hotel. Thought we had been screwed over as it was deserted, however lady turned up and let us in to nice clean and well equipped apartment. Absolutely no complaints for the money!
Lovely old style French hotel almost opposite the very impressive chateau at Brissac. Quiet but an easy walk into the centre of town. Parking right next door to the hotel.
