We regular stay in Figueres as a stop for our trip further in Spain. Friends of us recommended this hotel and indeed it was good. It is a bit further from the city but no problem to take the car for visit. We did not had dinner in the hotel since we know a good place to eat near the Dali Museum. You can take very early the breakfast. Classic buffet but plenty of choices. We had a room with view over the pool and no problem of any noise. PS: In the near towards the autoroute you have a gas station with good (= low) prices. This was a bonus as extra of the stay :-)

This is a highly authentic experience in a home environment with such a lovely, helpful host. The apartment was generous in size and you could be self contained in the apartment we had. The location is convenient to travel to Cadaques, Figueres and the nature park nearer the Bay of Roses. The town itself is not touristy in the least and is also an authentic rural experience in this part of Spain. The lovely host was easy to communicate with and only too happy to help when issues arose. Breakfast was great especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.
