Good place to stay while walking the camino. Room and bedroom were very clean. The place has a nice garden to sit in. I bought some food at the nearby supermarket and picnicked outside. The owner was very responsive and even texted me when my room was ready for check in.

Loved everything about this place. The swimming pool, the room, perfect linens, the interior design, the terrace, the well behaved dog with personality plus! The best place on the Camino del Norte! Rosa is a wonderful, gracious host!

There were multiple sitting areas, including an enclosed foyer with seating and vending machine for Camino walkers who depart very early in the morning. The owner-proprietor’s hospitality was excellent; he carried one of our bags to our room. When he observed we were having coffee on our departure, he brought out some cookies for us, which was totally unexpected. We loved the feel of the place. Highly recommended, one of those hotels that you do not forget!

It was a delight to spend time in the sitting room in front of a grand fireplace, or lounge in the beautiful room. There was a large jacuzzi bathtub, so I took a bath! I haven’t done that in years. The gentleman host was very helpful and friendly at every step from check-in, to telling me how to find the grocery store and where to find the best restaurant. This is an exceptional establishment. He could just give you tips about any beach, restaurant or fiesta in the area! Comfortable, spacious rooms, access to a neat terrace... Superb breakfast when available and a quiet, easily accessible location made this a new favourite. I cannot recommend enough la Caridad and the surroundings!
