The castle itself was superb. We really enjoyed it. We have arrived quite late but still managed to walk it through and even more than once. Every inch was really something spectacular. Better experience yourself.
We first got a smaller room but after easy going clarification with the staff, changed to a bigger one.
The cafe and restaurant was as well nice. Still managed to have a cup of tea at night in one of the rooms with bookshelf.
The bathroom is not the best, but our conclusion was that we weren't there for the most modern hotel experience.
I recommend to walk around the castle. Next day, we managed to walk garden through and get some apples right from the trees :)
Definitely recommend!

This B&B was a VERY pleasant surprise. It is tucked away in a VERY quiet neighborhood on a property that could well be a park. The breakfast was delicious and we were impressed by the attention we received. The rooms are spacious and well appointed: which makes for easy relaxation. In addition the bathroom was modern and exceptionally clean. We were definitely impressed and hope to stay there again.

Kim was a most excellent and friendly host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Safine B&B. It is a real gem. We were very comfortable and cozy in our suite which was spotless and lovely. Kim's breakfast was amazing! And abundance of homemade and local foods that were scrumptious and beautifully presented. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The town of Faaborg is just down the road and it's a really gorgeous and "un-touristy" right on the sea. Just fantastic.

It's in close proximity to many sights from Egoskov/Svendborg/Valdemar and a few surrounding islands.

Loved Faaborg and the surrounding area.
Loved Faaborg and the surrounding area. Great base for visiting Southern Fyn. Svanninge Bakker and Bjerge were lovely areas for walking, and had a wonderful day out walking on the island of Lyo. Good for day trips to Egeskov Slot and Svendborg/Tasinge/Langeland. The nearby Japanese gardens were great too.
Food at Den Hvide Pakhus was very nice, and enjoyed seeing the old car gathering at the harbour on Wednesday evening.
The house is located in the middle of the forest, a short drive to the lovely towns of Svendborg and Faaborg.
Fred and his family were very accommodating, and pleasant.
The breakfast was delicious and satisfying.
There's a nice hiking trail around the area where you can see many animals and nature.
If you're looking for a gateway from the city and want to relax among nice people, you should definitely book a night here.
I loved it that the Faaborg ByFerie Hotel was right on the town square and that the room was so spacious. It was so nice to have both a bed, a sofa and a chair - very comfortable - and there was also a nice kitchenette. This was really a place you could relax. It was easy to find our way in and there was even a safe place to park our bicycles, as we are on a bicycle vacation. We loved this place and highly recommend it!
Thanks for a very friendly welcome. Our room was very smart, modern and larger than most B&B accommodation. Breakfast was great, made fresh to order, pancakes were a nice surprise and plenty on offer. Prefer the B&B more personal experience, something hotels cannot provide. Would definitely recommend this one for couples. Location is a short drive into the nearest town of Faborg. Thanks.
This place is HUGE! It is the largest place we stayed at in all of Denmark and Norway. There is a long hallway that separates two of the 3 bedrooms and a door that separates the kitchen living space from the bedrooms, it is massive. The bedrooms are also huge. Great value! You will want to get to this town before 9 as a lot closes but the place is great.
The hotel is located in the center of Faaborg. Faaborg is an extremely charming, small, peaceful and colorful Danish town by the sea. This is not a four-star hotel, but more of a boarding house, but that's exactly what I'm always looking for. The location is great and check in was easy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which can accommodate a few cars.
Amazing 'castle' hotel in a very quiet location. Good breakfast and dinner. Nice staff. We had a large room at the top of the hotel with nice view over the lake- it would have been nice to know about the lift before carrying the bag up two flights of stairs!
This is a lovely hotel in a very pretty town. The manager, Charlotte paid a great attention to the details of giving excellent service including arrangements for when we arrived late. The beakfast the next morning was delicious!
