Located in the former ice-cream factory in Scharloo, Willemstad’s historic district, The Ritz Village offers modern, fully-equipped studios with free high-speed Wi-Fi and free on-site parking.

The location is ideal. I did not have a car and the city sights, museums and restaurants were within walking distance. Mambo beach is 10 mins taxi drive away and about 40 mins walk back. The suites are well kept and properly furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The view was great. The poolside food was very good. The staff at the hotel were particularly helpful and kind, especially Cailin at the Reception desk. The staff are also very kind to the fauna around the location. I spent more time at the hotel than outdoors on this trip (probably 60%) and the time at the hotel Enabled me to relax in a quiet environment. Yet, when I wanted I could go to the poolside bar to relax in a fun atmosphere.

Very good location in an upcoming part of Willemstad, within walking distance to all the main sights in the town, and close to both bus terminals. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities that we might have needed (though the private bathroom was separate and not ensuite). Access to shared kitchen and a coffee/tea making machine available 24/7 was a nice bonus. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful owners who arranged everything we needed (airport transfers, a boat trip to Klein Curacao etc). Most of all, welcoming atmosphere and genuine local spirit. Not everything was perfect, but we felt a part of the place and it was natural to blend in the local environment.

The room was nice, we were lucky and we stayed in one in the first floor, so we didn't need to climb the stairs. The location was good and we were able to go to the center by walking (even with a car, walk is the best way to reach the center).

    I like walking around the city on both sides of the bridge. It is funny how the stores do not really follow an opening/closure schedule so if you might like doing some shopping you should forget about the beach day and walk around the nice stores. There is a nice and new art gallery called Bagira Artist and Gallery, the artist is an open heart person and her job is superb! She allowed me to visit the installations during a time that everything was closed.

    For the price that was charged I expected way more.

    For the price that was charged I expected way more. For instance they don't have any parking on site. Very often the closest on-street parking I could find was a long walk away and this was very frustrating. The room we stayed in was shown as ocean view but it was kind of a side view. Again, this would have been fine for much lower cost but at about USD 350 a night I expected at least parking at the facility (even if it meant paying some more). Also charging for Coffee pods was silly, keep in mind I was paying USD 1350 for the stay and they wanted to add 5 more bucks for the coffee pods! Outside of the above, rest was fine. One of the staff was very helpful. Place was very clean and the the full property was well maintained. The main tourist area is about a 15 minute walk so the location is not bad.

    I have been to Curacao twice, and still have not been to...

    I have been to Curacao twice, and still have not been to Mambo Beach. Otherwise the downtown area is a must for a visit. The point in bridge at night lights up, you have the Curacao sign, the Dushi sign and the iguana. All around just a beautuful island with beautiful people.

    Willemstad is an authentic and colorful Caribbean city with a very interesting Dutch colonial architecture in both sides of the city. To my surprise, I found that Otrobanda (where we've stayed) has been beautifully renovated with some parts full of cultural buildings, museums, small colorful streets and excellent street-art displays. The highlight is the magnificent view of the harbour and the bridge that rotates full of lights, it's an spectacle! There isn't a frequent or reliable public transportation, almost none in the city. I found it very disappointing to be obligated to rent a car or take Taxis to get around.

    I was there for work so I really had no time to enjoy much of Curaçao and Willemstad. But the city felt nice and safe. It has a beautiful architecture that really reflects its UNESCO world heritage status. I enjoyed the visit to the acquarium on Mambo beach, the bar at the windsurf school at Spaanse Water and the maritime history museum downtown. Still a lot of things to see and I didn't even make it to the beach!

    I was in Blue Bay more time and can really recommend.Staff is nice, helpfull. Apartment is silent, well equipped. Location is perfect for clients who love snorkeling, you can visit plenty of the beaches near by, always is better to rent a car. Parking is free and always enough space. Blue Bay is in great location, only 15 minutes by car from center of Willemstad and 5 minutes from shopping center Sambil and also for people who loves fitness as me, Oxygen fitness as well. If you would spend nice time on Curacao so Blue Bay is clear choice

    Sidney is the friendliest host we’ve ever met! He and his wife pay attention to all the details in the house, everything is very well organised, clean and ready to use. My husband and I came to Curaçao for our honeymoon and Sidney made sure we had all the information about the places to go and he gave us all the useful tips for our entire stay. He and his wife also beautifully decorated our room because of our honeymoon. We had a great time and will surely keep in touch!

    The location was perfect. Walking distance from Punda and there any many cool things nearby. The place borrow the bikes for free but unfortunately Curacao is not a good city to ride bike. If you want to save some money and meet different people it is a good place, there are 2 sharable kitchen, one in the 1st floor and the other on the 2nd floor. They have options of private rooms and shareble rooms. The shower was amazing. I like the hostel environment.

    The location is excellent. The city centre is within walking distance. Staff is very helpful in general with only one exception. The place is very colourful and comfy and there is a lot of security. The rooms are clean and big. They include kitchen and cutlery if you want to cook your own meals, which is an option considering how expensive is Curacao. There is no hot water, but it is a big deal considering the warm weather.

    Lovely apartment in a great location in Curacao. Easy self check-in. We had the apartment with the view on the street. For us is ok, cause we were always outside. It is a quiet area. The apartment has everything and fully equipped kitchen. Pietermaai is kind of a new fast developing area with many restaurants, bars and various establishments within walking distance to the center of Curaçao.

    The location, the facilities and the staff were exceptional. Raul, Sarah and Ellis were highly responsive and accommodating with any requests or needs. The private beach with shower and shade huts and trees was lovely. Like every beach in Curacao, snorkeling feet from the shore provided an amazing array of colorful fish. I would definitely stay here again if given the possibility.

    I love the view from the rooftop restaurant. The ambiance was cozy. The service good. The rooms where clean. I had one of the most amazing happy birthday parties on the roof. I am proud that Curacao now have it's own rooftop restaurant like in many other great cities like NY and Dubai.     This is my most favorite place to stay at Curacao. My daughter of five loved it there. They staff are super friendly, and they try their best to take care of your needs. They place is super clean. Every time when I go there, it feels like i just got home. So Quints is most recommended.
