Christine was very accommodating with our late check in request and our accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast with food from the farm and enjoyed being able to see the cows, goat, chickens etc. The shower was nice and spacious with good water pressure and the sofas and bed were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to provide whatever we needed and gave us tips on where to visit in the city.
The room was spacious with high ceilings and the bathroom was also huge. The hotel is quite a short walk from the centre and has many interesting shops and cafes along the way. It's also quite close to tram station which takes you to the central railway/bus station.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from France to Amsterdam. This time, we had a less expensive room, which is on the ground floor at the back of the building (not the canal side, but we knew that). Once again, we have no complaints about the staff, and the bed and bathtub were great. This time, for breakfast, we ordered from the menu, and the waffles were amazing—incredibly light.
The Flandria Hotel is a simple guest house that offers budget accommodation in the historical heart of Ghent. Benefit from the short distance to the main sights and attractions.

exceptional location and building. Like travelling back in time.
If you like doors that actually close, airco, indirect lights, plaster walls, best stay away.

I had to drive the street three times to find the small house number attached to the bottom of a tree, The house is behind another house and cannot be seen from the street, There is now sign or anything. When I found the house finally, I found it to be obviously new but surrounded by nothing except rubbish, dirt and one man in a car drinking beer. Nobody opened the house when I rang the bell, nobody answered telephone, nobody answered my mails in the following days, nobody transferred my money back. I had to go for another hotel that evening.
